Hello guys, I am going on a last minute planning for a solo trip to Tokyo this December.
This is my first solo trip and first trip to Japan.
I know December is a less ideal time to travel in Japan due to the weather and short-daytime, but this is the only time I can travel before I begin my next job during January.
This is my rough itinerary thus far.
12th of December (Wednesday) Day1: Ueno, Ameyoko, Akihabara
13th of December (Thursday) Day 2: DisneySEA
14th of December (Friday) Day 3: Mt Fuji Tour (Go or No go?)
15th of December (Saturday) Day 4: Asasuka, Sensoji, Tower, River Cruise to Odaiba (7pm Fireworks every Saturday during December)
16th of December (Sunday) Day 5: Yoyogi, Meiji, Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku
17th of December (Monday) Day 6: Kamakura Day Trip.
18th of December (Tuesday) Day 7: Tsukiji (just to makan, I know there's no more market), Ginza, Tokyo Station, Imperial Palace, Roponggi Hills, Tokyo Tower
19th of December (Wednesday) Day 8: Chill/pack luggage/ last min shop around (Maybe Ikebukuro?), Flight late night.
I will be staying at Sadou Hostel at Ueno, due to its close proximity to train station and recommendation from my friend. Also its looks very decent for its price.
Right now, my main concern is the Mount Fuji day trip. I haven't arrange anything for that day yet.
I am not sure if its really worth it. (I am looking at
https://www.govoyagin.com/activities/japan-...=asiatravelbug)I heard Mt Fuji view should be clear during Dec due to cold/dry air of Winter.
However, some people say some areas might be closed due to frozen roads?
Can anyone advise on any changes I should make in my itinerary? Is it too packed or anything?
I would like to ask if RM4000/110k Yen is sufficient as pocket money for the 8 day trip. (Ignoring accommodation costs and Disney ticket)
