it is about time for Honda Malaysia to be one of the major player on big bike market. Kawasaki are the first one been doing this and look at where is kawasaki now..they(kawasaki) are considered leader in big bike market in malaysia, Yamaha (hong leong) still test market by Xj6 & MT..heck even Suzuki considered just wake up to globally trend also invest fully with their full range of big bikes offering in Malaysia..if Honda Boon Siew still prefer sleep on their EX5..let it be..

Honda have some very nice n interesting new bikes, but sadly high chance wont' be available in msia anytime soon.
While Kawasaki has created the Z900 which is 52cc shy of being a 1litre bike and price it abit higher than the z800, what has honda got here? CB1000r CB300r CB125r  ONLY IN JAPAN 2018 CB400 super four CB1300 super four  ONLY iN YOUR DREAMS ?? HONDA the POWER of DREAMS mar   QUote from rival site.... ".... CBR500R ABS: RM35,179.28 add RM2k one can consider NInjA 650 with ABS n slipper clutch CB500F ABS: RM34,861.28 CBR500X ABS: RM35,391.28 Z650 with GST RM 35 609.00 also MT07 RM35 296.00 Duke390 RM28 800, TRK502 RM31 151.00 kambing soon the Leoncino... oso ppl like to kutuk... is it so damn hard n expensive to put in a gear indicator .... for all these CB500 bikes... ? best of the pick Kwak Z650/Ninja 650 ..no brainer pick or Suzuki SV650 also imported Japan CBU with ABS..
Honda..."power of dream" only ...keep on recycle the CB500 range in malaysia..now is 2018 around the corner..instead of introduce latest model & tech...again ..recycle the CB500 series..Honda is just like sugar cane scenario.. u see ppl see sugar cane drink..place the whole stack of sugar cane into the sqeezer machine, after one around go thru the squezer machine..it go thru 2nd & 3rd round..if that is not enough, the whole dry sugar cane will dipped into the water and squeeze again to extract whatever juice ..that is HONDA |

I was considering the CBR500F, almost want to put my down payment for it already until I realize it has no ABS and no gear indicator..ABS option touching RM 35k, very very close to Kawasaki Ninja 650 zone, just additional 2k.

the bike on the lower left looks sure to be cb1000r

I wished they would bring in and sell the 2018 Honda Goldwing Touring with DCT. Given a choice, I would prefer to purchase from Boon Siew Honda than other parallel/grey importers.

As usual Malaysia is always slow when come to new product launching be it Cars or Motorcycles. btw, the CB650R Neo look promising. The design & spec are way better than the existing CB650f. IMHO The design also much better than CB1000r Neo...especially the CB1000R from mid section to rear section look a bit odd..front end with round headlight look nice, but mid to rear look wrong proportion..CB650R neo look perfect front to back.

Maxi Yamaha itu dibanderol Rp 31.150.000 untuk tipe ABS dan Rp 27.540.000 untuk tipe standar. Also, the Adv is something like a DP (dual purpose) while the NVX is a sports scooter. So can't really compare.    There are 2 versions for the Adv 150. 1 is ABS and the other is CBS. So depends which one BSH brings in. It's the same case like the NVX where there is ABS and normal brakes options but HLY brought in only the ABS spec. But this ADV 150 is really nice! Like a mini Africa Twin / X-Adv 750. I like!    |

After viewing ADV 150 review from Indonesia on YoutTube, I like PCX better. But I'm may be biased since I own that... |

Yamaha is kinda weird in malaysia. People love the bike. But Yamaha seem to not care about their big bike line up here in malaysia. The official Yamaha service center only cater up to 250cc bike only. Kawasaki now team up with modenas Suzuki already built up online spares part program like they did with kawasaki. Honda got big wing big bike Even ducati triumph Royal Enfield already builds after sale service center here in malaysia. They only supported by a 3rd party shop Yamaha seem to proud to set up a proper service center for their bike. Is hong leong this stupid Suzuki and honda just eat up the market share in malaysia. Tbh there may be some takers of forza350 for those with b full but dont want to get xadv 750 or tmax560 due to prohibitive pricing. If the pricing is estimated at 30k lah. Same with why people get j300, c400 or burgman 400. Maybe for second bike or just don't want to deal with clutches.

I could use a mid size scooter too.. forza 350 is 20cm longer than the adv160. Slightly taller seat height, same width. |

My part of the town where people still do commute to city with 30-50km one way daily, there's still a bit more >250cc bikes on the road. But i understand where you're coming from. Applying for AP and the difficulties that comes with it even though for a CBU bike with less purchase rate makes it little incentives for BSH.
