Terbaharu, kami bertanya sendiri kepada Naib Pengerusi dan Naib Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Boon Siew Honda, Datuk Seri Wira Tan Hui Jing mengenai perkembangan terkini Honda CBR250RR. Menurutnya, kelewatan Honda CBR250RR ke pasaran Malaysia disebabkan jentera dibangunkan itu tidak memenuhi standard spesifikasi Euro 4.
Hui Jing turut menjelaskan permohonan sudahpun dibuat kepada Honda Jepun bagi membenarkan Honda CBR250RR masuk ke pasaran Malaysia.
"Berdasarkan undang-undang atau syarat yang ditetapkan, setiap motosikal yang dibawa masuk ke Malaysia perlulah memenuhi standard spesifikasi Euro 4.
"Sebaik saja ia melepasi syarat ditetapkan, kami akan berusaha untuk membawa masuk ke Malaysia.
"Ini juga bergantung kepada harga. Jika harga jualan terlalu mahal, kemungkinan besar kami hanya bawa masuk unit terhad saja. Apa-apapun, kita hanya tunggu masa yang sesuai," tambahnya lagi.

Not Euro 4 but very close to it. So they waiting for the bike to pass European certification then can bring here.

But then if they decide to bring in, it's the question on the price point again. How much is too much? Who's going to buy at RM 25k when the CBR500 sibling is close to the asking price?

bs honda doesnt have AP like Kawa, Suzuki and BMW so they have to import with a markup. They also are very afraid to CKD unlike HLYM.
