I saw the first page mentioned that the "kluk kluk" when over uneven road is due to the bump stopper. Mine having this issue after changing the new absorber and bump stopper (after market, not ori). May I know actually how the "kluk kluk" sound generated? Is it because the bump stopper move vertical causing it or due to insufficient gap between the absorber and the stopper causing the hit? Wanna replace the bump stopper, but no idea which type should I buy. Appreciate if anyone may have the similar experience can comment on that. Thanks ya.

Hi guys, any short shifter manual gb users here, can give reviews or feedbacks?

Back when I first bought the car(2016) the kits cost 1k+. Now I saw one selling at 2xx range.

Does it improves driving experience? I'm not really into the milliseconds improvement of shifting gear due to shorter throw but mainly more on driving feels and experience.

There was a post about this long ago....i don't remember where but in summary, it is not recommended.

The reason is simple - the short shifters out there reduce the height of your stick making the angle really uncomfortable. I have tried it on a friend's inspira, it doesn't feel that great at all and shifting is awkward.

A real short shifter kit will not reduce the height of your stick, but goodluck finding one of those.

I'm still using my original stick and still feels great.

Hello, I cannot open my car door (2.0p inspira 2011). When pressed, the remote key lights up/flashes, but the car door does not engage to unlock. When inserted and twisted, the physical key does not produce any action, as nothing mechanical engages with the physical car key.

Can you all advise me what my next move/option? Thanks.

my personal recommendation is YES it is good, provided you buying proper /reputable short shifter kits.
and it is ultimately what is your real intention/objective/goal.

the overall shifting on the stock shifter is decent, but i wish that the knob interfacing is a little closer to the steering, so i had a short shifter and an extender so the shift gating/throws are almost same if not very slightly reduced, however the height of the knob was greatly extended very close to the steering for spirited driving/track days purposes.

so to me, my experience was great as my objective was met.

Muhrica Torque solution short shifter kit does reduce the height a little
https://www.torquesolution.com/product-p/ts-ss-016.htm
and that's a real short shifter kit

so please don't generalize.

your experience probably involved a short shifter and a very short and/or small knob that some people prefers. it basically turns the shifter into a button. some people wants that, and obviously you're not one of them.

Just to share.. Repainted the whole car maintaining the same color A39 using nippon paint and clear coat at paintwerkz in Kg Subang for $2.8k. Quality and workmanship is good at least to me but waiting period up to 3 weeks. Cost incl caliper, wheel arch/rim painting incl coated front & rear lamps

Next to repair a minor oil leak at the flywheel otherwise the car still doing great despite more than 300k km clocked. Also changed Amaron Go again as old battery lasted 3.5 yrs for $320
