china rom still have language option on first boot up. So I select English, use as normal. But floated with many china bloatware which I hate, and no play store. MIUI forum have tutorial how to install Google play services, pretty easy.

Nah. If have unlocked a device before, you just skip the sms for unlock confirmation. You still need 360 hours to actually unlock with unlock tool.

The idea is xiaomi want to make sure the number is the legit owner for the device.

With current rom, I noticed that the ram utilisation is minimised. Seems to have extra ram available. Previously the free ram is about 1.4gb thereabout. Now it hovers around 1.8gb left.

Plus the battery consumption seems improved slightly too. At 4pm i usually is sdown to 50+% already but today, it seems that it is now about 60+%
