Good review shockk. Just realized the DESIGN BY MI at the side of silicon case. The case also flush the camera bump. Waiting for another 270+ hours before unlock. Mine is AP set with fake rom.

ada. miui 9.2.0.2 fake rom. try to update via updater cause recovery bootloop. need to do test point and flash china 9.2.3 rom.

My story so far:
buy ap > apply .zip update on fake rom > recovery 3.0 bootloop > wtf xiaomi > google > test point flash > china stable rom > 10008 error unlock status > dns changer > mi unlock tool > bla bla 360 hours > wtfff > half heartly using china rom > wah china rom not bad what

Now my R4X looks so tiny

Make sure you are on official china rom.
- playstore can be installed, noob proof. Sync my google contacts and calendar seemlessly.
- most, or, i think all bloatware can be uninstalled. Only xiaomi account app in chinese on my device.
- no unwanted / intrusive ads so far

Apart from this you will have different system font, which somehow i think look better in this huge screen.

R5 is rosy. R5+ is vince. Should be same rom independent of ram/rom

SD vs kirin cpu. 3k vs 4k battery. It back to personal preference.

Interestingly R5+ have higher screen to body ratio compare to N2i. Maybe because the extra 0.09".

I opt for R5+ simply due to bigger battery.

RN4 vs R5+ is conventional 16:9 vs new 18:9 display aspect ratio. And capacitive vs on display nav button.

If R5+ use usb c it is totally different game.

Bought mine from wow phone. Did not put any instruction. Get fake global rom 9.2.0.2 if not mistaken. This cant ota update or will be on recovery bootloop.

The remedy is test point flash to china stable rom.
