Experienced this in Apple Orchard Road, really fast and consistent accuracy.

How much it cost and is it tempered glass or normal film?

The film kind if I’m not mistaken was around SGD29 while the tempered glass is SGD59. Don’t recall anyone opting for the film type though.

This is something only other phone manufacturers can dream of achieving

Ya, exactly that. No pre-order discount, no freebies. And yet they queue.

One question please.
Let’s say if I buy from macstudio, can I claim warranty in machines SC?
*
Yes. As long it’s an official Apple My set.

Somehow, the same hype and demand like yesteryears is not going to happen this time. I would say the price would be the deciding factor. Only the really hardcore fans would get this. Looking at how early Malaysia is getting the second wave launch has already shown the level of demand for the phone.

Yeah, the hype has died down, even in the US and Australia where long queues would be everywhere back in the day.

I would say the pricing would be the major turn off. Apple don’t have the competitive edges it had over android like the yesteryears anymore.

I think we’ve discussed this many times. Save for the camera shutter click which can’t mute it should be OK. Warranty is debatable, some claimed successfully while others claimed to have been rejected.

The economy is so bad here I would be surprised if there will be people lining up for a phone that costs as much as a base model Macbook Pro and for one that isn’t even that amazing either.

I’m getting a fast charger that deliver high power through USB-C. I would prefer a fast charge on this beast. The supplier wall charger is just slow. I can imagine if you get the wireless charger it’ll be even slower

Regardless the port used, the most important thing is the output amperage. Get the ipad 12W wall plug. Or can look for third party like aukey. I use 42W aukey qc2.0 3 usb port. Output 2.4/2.0/1.5A. My iP7plus about 2.3hours full charge from 20%, iP8 almost 2 hours from 15%, using 2.4A port.

Yes, Iphones and even the Iphone X are one of the slowest charging phones. Wireless Fast charging is also not available on the Iphone X yet. It is rumoured that apple is developing a fast charging pad for the Ip8 and X.
