seems not practical, you have to hold and support the extended part otherwise you press, soon or later the lightning metal break

I think we’ve discussed this many times. Save for the camera shutter click which can’t mute it should be OK. Warranty is debatable, some claimed successfully while others claimed to have been rejected.
