i think ur hot air is blowing to the mobo's temp sensor liao as on my setup the mobo temp is the lowest among all...

Hmmm. maybe laaa. Where's the sensor location ar ?

ur sensor siao already, maybe it's facing hot air like bro sup3rfly said.
try adjusting the fan and modify the air flow direction.
I attached a fan, a Global Win 70mm (i think) piece on top of the northbridge. It blows air directly to the Northbridge. The NB is cool at 30+.

You need to attach a cooling fan on top of the black Northbridge heatsink, then your system temperature will read as per normal. I mean below 45C
This is what I did using an old Pentium 3 Cooling fan with the used of celotape to attach it on top of the cooler. Works perfect like a charm
Currently waiting of my C2D E6600 to really test my rig. At the moment manage to push the RAM to 500Mhz stable 24/7.
Yup tried doing that as above. I also have 2 x 80mm fans sucking the air out at the back of the case, roughly parallel to the CPU and NB area. A Coolermaster and no name case fan. Can feel the air flow at the back of the case, seems cool only.
My case is a Chieftec BX 2000 Black case btw. Oh well, i'll play around and see what happens.
Hennyway, thanks fellas, all of you have been a real help in my noob c2d journey.
p/s: Are all of you on 411/424 BIOS ? I'm still on stock. I notice some settings discussed in the DFI forum are not available on the stock BIOS, i.e the DLK settings in DRAM timing.
