Pls take note:
this mobo got some compatiblity problem with ES processor and some D9 chipset ram.
try ur luck, mine one got no problem with GMH chipset.

and one thing,i'm using air cooling only....the temperature is quite hot.....

well, taxidoor,i faced the problem like u too, looks like the cpu-z is not reading the multiplier correctly....

and coolice,i got a qwuestion to ask u,hope u dont mind....
u hitting 4.0Ghz while i hitting 3.6GHz,why there is no big different in the superpi 1M?

and one thing,i tested before,a super hot processor really process slower than lower speed but cool processor.

well, let me tell u guys my experience.
i'm using D9GMH,it has no problem with me when wanna oc.
but i'm using Enermax 535W psu, macam ada problem, here it goes:
when i wanna switch on my pc,(cold boot),the pc will fire up,then after 5 seconds,it shut down.....then only second time boot up (auto boot up),then it will run into POST with no problem, then can run for whole day liao....

i'm not sure what's going on there, even psu also got problem with mobo?i first time experience only....but one thing, the bios reading and smartguardian temperature reading is kinda inaccurated,i use core temp to read,my idle at 3.6GHz only 38c and 36c.

(btw, who know how to deactivate the memory self testing in the POST screen there?scanning 4GB of ram is kinda long, and i cant show up full scren logo)

try loosening up your advanced timings, usually that's the limiting factor there. D9's comfortable working range should be about the following

tRFC - 21-30

All Precharge to ACT = use 4

Write to PRE TWR = 10 (upto 840) 11 for upto 1000

TWTR  - 9/10

nice info!
thanks bro!
anyway,what if i put auto?

QUOTE(jslut @ May 6 2007, 05:00 PM)
ok i got weird stability probs here.

i have super talent rams (SUPER TALENT DDR2 PC2-5300 667MHz 2GB KIT (2x 1GB) 4-4-4-12) and i had problems running it from the start. installing windows with both sticks i couldn't get it running. only got through only by putting one of the sticks

memtest each of the individual sticks would be ok, dual channel is ok as well. only when in windows would it get cranky. u guys have any ideas??
*
does he mean he has problem when trying to run dual channel in the mobo?

well, bro jslut.u can try running both the ram with non-dual channel mode?
