Thanks for sharing. Is there any chance of refUnd?In case unifi came, what is the penalty for cancellations or upgrade?

Since Oct 2018 until today, TM can't fix my 8mbps streamyx due to PPPoE Disconnect too frequent (low Uptime).
TM officer told me, TM wont fix streamyx, only possible fix is lowering 8mbps package to 5mbps speed with 10240kbps DSL port speed, this way give more overhead for PPP LCP to ping each other. today bill: rebate only works if report is over 2 days~ so, I need keep do report since they wont fix the line probably this way can accelerate Unifi come to my taman |

The point is just beside my house... so my DSL stats definitely sufficient for fast path. |

QUOTE(Maxieos @ Feb 2 2019, 12:37 AM) oh , I did check , and I am sure they didn't have your checker coverage as details as house address info. no, I use keep-alive PPPoE, there are PPP LCP where PPPoE Server ping to Client for telling the client is alive, because TM give 10240kbps/640kbps port for 8192kbps/512kbps data, still not enough buffer for PPP LCP.Because I am planing to check for friends and create an area of unifi and streamyx map alike . Do let me know if you fix it.Thanks How many ms is your ping ? PPPoE always auto disconnected when idle.Have to set route to keep connection alive . How much you are paying for 8mb ? in Wireshark monitor, when PPPoE Server send echo (alive) to client, and client reply, never arrive, server assume client is offline, thus disconnected. because client reply never arrive, this because congested, not enough buffer, plus it runs on ANNEX_A, not ANNEX_M i pay 8mbps for RM140/month currently speed capped to 5120kbps/256kbps for half port speed 10240kbps/640kbps, give large buffer and PPP LCP overhead |

has anyone encountered a problem where tm refuse to upgrade package to 8mbps citing infrastructure limitations despite my service address supporting up to 8mbps packages according to tm's own coverage checker as well as resellers?
I submitted a termination request so that i can hope for customet retention team to handle the request instead, but almost immediately after submitting the request (abt 1 min) tm quickly changed my address from port available to no port available... so fishy... its not like i want a free upgrade, i pay rm160 oso no prob cos its for work.... Those idiots are unreliable as hell. Sorry to hear that. I waited for 8 years plus to get Unifi in my other house, and my speed before that was only 4Mbps so I totally get where you are coming from. Hopefully, they are planning to fiberize the entire nation and then you will get Unifi.I submitted a termination request so that i can hope for customet retention team to handle the request instead, but almost immediately after submitting the request (abt 1 min) tm quickly changed my address from port available to no port available... so fishy... its not like i want a free upgrade, i pay rm160 oso no prob cos its for work.... |

What happened to Gobind's promise about everyone getting a decent connection? Bullshit yet again. |
