Please aware that all streamyx package upload speed is 512kbps or 0.5mbps, mobile internet nowdays are way better and DO NOT JOIN BACK if a public ip for cctv (port forwarding) is your requirement.

Thanks.

Thanks for advice smile.gif
My company provide broadband claims benefits, tapi need receipt.
Right now I am using Unifi Mobile Bebas RM80/month @ 10mbps, but I am not able to claim it because it is prepaid.

Line ok. But hypptv will lag a lot and sometimes loading even no one is using the internet. The video quality also not full HD just 480p. Sometimes the picture will pixelated. For me I cannot watch peacefully because always loading every 10 minutes.

That's very sad to hear. I watch a lot from my android box with unifi 30mbps. Now that i'm switching over to 8mbps, i think it's also the end of the road for my beloved tv box. Gg

I saw TM ppl and their team is doing some maintenance at the TM cabinet in my area. Stop by and asked them, they told me that streamyx in the mid of upgrading and the new download shall be from 10mbps up to 20mbps or even 30mbps depending on the quality of the lines. They however didn't mention the upload speed nor the new plans for streamyx as it will be subjected to hq decision. They showed me the new cards that to be upgrade replacing the old one.Attached Image Attached Image

Congratulations! At least they're doing something to upgrade the speed at your area. Meanwhile, still no sign of cabinet upgrade for SUBB project extension at my area sad.gif

Most probably up to VDSL I guess, as the over head cable connected to my house is still on copper unless they pulled the fiber up to my pole db box.

i'd say that is good enough.

it's just that TM never promote the SUBB/VDSL option, thus the price options are rarely seen.

still too early to pop up the balloons bro. The guys did mentioned that not all numbers to enjoy the upgrade. Few testing phases to be carry out, once completed on the site test, the results to be send to the hq, they will finalised of the eligibility of which. Hope mine is fit to enjoy the upgrade. This will come to weeks and months to implement. In a meanwhile, I am still on current speed until they send the email just like the turbo promotion.

Ya.. clearly they upgrade the 'card' inside the cabinet from ADSL to VDSL thus you can subscribe for Unifi Lite 10Mbps.

In the future we don't know maybe they will launch another package targeted to SUBB utilising the existing copper line.

I was told by TM technician, it's limited for those line distance from cabinet to their home around 2KM.

If the distance more than that, it falls back to streamyx 8mbps rolleyes.gif

Well, even it's still in the early stage of implementation, you should be grateful because at least something progressed at your area.

You might soon enjoyed the upload speed of 5Mbps, which will give huge different from 512Kbps upload of streamyx.

Mine? They told me to wait for next year project ONLY if project approved and have funds to proceed which I doubt too.

There's still no sign of FDC will be installed in near future for my area

Some more, for MSAN either. They upgraded 90% of the cabinet and it's all complete (ASB), including the rural cabinet here thus they would able to subscribe for Unifi Lite, and they skipped 4 cabinet at the middle of town and one of them situated at my housing area.

Some little update here, the contractor already completed (or halfway) their job this evening. From my current router modem D-Link 2730e, the port setting is still the same at 10230 and 637, but I see annexM showing beside the G992.5. Previously only G992.5 appeared. Some speedtest to any local server I am getting consistently more than 9mbps (previously only around between 7 to 8mbps) for download and upload still the same around 500kbps and more considering my upload port capped at 512kbps.
