my friend just installed 8mbps at RM 140
free hypptv
free adsl riger db120wl
free phone
installation RM50 (at first RM 50-150, then i ask my agent call the technician, then they agree at RM50)

i wanna ask the adsl riger db120wl, what is the best modem modem i can get, someone suggested

Same. Esp my area no port and got ppl on waiting list so cannot recon with promotion (need to do as new cust lol)(my contract oso more than like 5 yearzz)

Probably, it's TM side problem since there is no DSL light..

Happened to me twice, after I switched it off because of the lightning! Why?!

Why my RM 88 8mb line now become RM58 and another RM30 is in the HYPPTV JUMBO LITE category? means I can enjoy the hypptv along? btw i dont have the hypptv device

Why Malaysians need to OVERPAID for insanely high prices while TIME able to offers much lower. If TM unable to reduce to FAIR and REASONABLE prices, please kindly consider to grant more permissions for TIME and other ISPs such as MyRepublic to expand Internet services across whole Malaysia.

Hi guys ik this thread quite dead but thot would be better to ask here than the unifi thread..

Back when they had streamyx welcome surprise and bonanza my area no 8mbps port when i was in 4mbps. Now have 8mbps port, so can i still complain for free upgrade?
(Btw im out of contract, been on 4mbps for a v long time without discount)

just tell them u are not satisfy and want to terminate, maybe they will offer u free upgrade, who know lol

Streamyx is at the dead end, cannot go any further but still TM is happily collect the fee RM160+ every month for the old technology.

Just subscribed to streamyx 8mbps today. Waiting for their installation on Thursday

Active doing complaint at unifi over email or chat, then they give a 8mbps speed at rm88. After autodebit by CC,i pay 86.00/month. This charge is for lifetime under Govt broadband initiatives under last year budget.

True. This is totally ridiculous to charge RM160 for merely 8Mbps with outdated ADSL technology internet.

I am not sure about rural area. Maybe they feel grateful for that. Speaking of city/town in Malaysia, we really deserve better price and good quality internet network.

I asked for upgrade from my current 4Mbps to 8Mbps but need to pay RM160 per month whereas many agents outside still offering RM140 per month for subscribing as a new 8Mbps user. This is nonsense and ridiculous. They never care to listen to feedback.

They never extend or setup new UNIFI coverage for many areas in big city. Yet they offer attractive price for multiple times of better connection speed at almost the same price for Streamyx. We as the existing Streamyx customers with no choice to go better at all. Ask for 8Mbps yet still need to top up extra of RM20 per month. Charging us so high with low connection speed. It's like fooling us.

TM monopolizes almost the whole home broadband market in Malaysia and i really pray so hard for our current new government to actually press them to offer better package to the people.
