At the lelong unit which is at PPA1M Kepong, I would say more than half units there owners rented out, didnt stay. Some even handover to subletter to manage by rent out per room / per head basis there.

Interesting, I guess this means it would be a cash buy isn't it?

I highly doubt any bank will give more than RM100k loan on this even if you are a Grade A* borrower profile.

Yeah LPPSA value only at 90k. Anything beyond possible not able to get loan. Need use cash for anything above 90k. Need to search all other banks see. Maybe got bank value this unit higher. Need to check.

I had a chat with my usual bankers, both of them confirmed max they will loan on this is 70% of the launch price as the policies on them would ensure there isn't any room for the value to go up.

Maybe it might be different for some of the local banks?

Logically : No, based on the standard contract, capital gains for the first 10 years are prorated and returned back to the government.

If owner has owned the property for 1 year, he/she will get 10% of the profit.

PPA1M: No restrictions on renting out, restrictions only compass on sale of property.

Maybe : you are mistaken with other government schemes.

Well, yes. You can argue say no enforcement carried out.

2. Restriction in renting out not stated in the S&P. Here the latest regulation taken and stated for PPAM OUG:

Same as rumahwip as well. Legally not able to take action to those renting out. Not stated anywhere restriction in renting.

The information is wrong. Call directly PPA1M for confirmation.

There is no restriction on renting out PPA1M properties as of now.
