this year's mercedes not only slower than ferrari-vettel, it's also tyre-unfriendly and unreliable too!
see how effortless vettel overtook hamilton despite so much hyped of their version 2.1 PU and aero upgrade.

it's back to usual mercedes day, just only year 2017 they're problem-less.
but this year ferrari is very fast so today's mercedes reliability-woes ended their championship hopes.

Stupid decision from Mercedes for Hamilton yet again. How many times already? Hamilton must be having orgasm every weekend being screwed by his own tactician.

How many times Hamilton losing a race due to VSC already? What is it that they don't understand about VSC.

I think F1 should just scrap vsc and go just sc. Cheaper in cost too.

Better alternative: full course yellow

Mclaren now in 6, and force india just 2 point behind. They will be lucky if not being overtake by TR.

I prefer sc, can have more drama. Or stop, and restart. Haha

Well actually Mercs is still faster as proven by the qualifying position in the last 2 races. Seb says they are notably faster in the fast corners. They just have problem with reliability and tire wear but for ultimate raw speed, they still have slight edge over Ferrari. Seb was able to overtake Ham coz Ham already start having tire blisters, denying him of better traction out of the 1st corner. Before that, Ham overtook Seb first not long after he pitted.

Anyway moot point since they had to retire anyway due to mechanical problem.

Yeah another great effort by Alonso, he solely carry the slow Mclaren up to the points. Pity if F1 looses him next year which becomes more likely.

FI should be able to overtake McLaren especially since Vandoorne still so lagging behind. Not sure bout TR though coz both their drivers are still too green as well. I'd think Alonso would still be able to collect more points than the 2 TR drivers at the end.

Anyway quite entertaining race and excellent result for the championship though.

Seb should have won it if not for the stupidity that earned him the grid penalty. After that Kimi should have won it if not for his typical mistakes which again made him loose positions in the first lap. So good job by Max & RB for stealing the win.

Yeah, his home country race which he normally does very well. I also expect Ham to win and retake the lead there.

Expect him to start from behind due to penalty. I'm not optimistic that overhyped v2.1 PU still usable for higher stress races (due to challenge from Ferrari and Red Bull they need to run party mode most of the time)

I actually want someone else other than the top 2 to win this time. So either Bottas, Max, Ric, or even the Kimster (wishful thinking!). I want those top 2 to crash into each other for a non score and explode into real war! laugh.gif

I think Mercedes are pushing their car to the limit, thus the reliability problem and the Hamilton are also pushing too hard, thus cause blistering.

Things with McLaren is too much promise and talking but deliver nothing. Time to shut up and work their problem..just stop claiming they have the best chassis is a start.

If I have to say let Alonso go. At this time McLaren need a driver who can stay on with the rebuild process. Alonso has run out of time he want a winning car not wait a few years more also his moaning is getting old. Every weekend he got something to moan at, how does this will help things? All this is just bring negativity to a already frustrated team.

Team needs a reshuffling in every part then I can see McLaren be back on top just like Ferrari now.
