Well but not his or Mercs fault that they are dominating. It's the incompetence of the rest of the field that makes people can get bored. If Ferrari is more reliable, competent, and Seb doesn't keep making mistakes like a rookie, Ferrari would have at least 2 more wins or even 3.

Thats because Mercedes never gives him the chance to fight for P1. Its always Lewis that is given the chance to fight. How many times you can recall the team giving his wingman trying to fight for first.

Mercs did gave him chances or else he wouldn't be winning or leading in some early part of the season. If he could keep up his momentum, he would still be neck and neck with LH but LH crushes him in the last 4-5 months now. The team has all the data and therefore exactly knows which are the strength and weaknesses of both drivers so much hey know also exactly who is their best chance of winning. I tell you VB is just a good wingman, not a champion caliber, not even at Kimi's level when he was at his peak. (and Kimi is probably the weakest compared to LH, FA, and SV).

VB is to Merc as was RB and FM was to Ferrari. Lol

Yes but Ferrari did put much more lop sided support much earlier to Schumacher back then.

Not easy for Lewis, given the red car straight line speed advantage, even if Lewis manage to overtake he would be easily overtaken back.

So I reckon Mercedes had really no answer to Ferrari in the Italian GP.

If Lewis did overtook Charles (during the incident which the Ferrari was given black and white flag), I think he would have won. Mercedes sacrifice top speed for better drive and it could be seen how Lewis was able to stick to the back of that Ferrari. It could be seen clearly the Ferrari was quick in that final corner and straight only.

Difficult to say. In F1 the tendency is once you manage to overtake, you will most likely stay ahead. Given LH who is obviously a special talent, that likelihood is even higher and he should have the pace to get enough gap to CL in the middle sector. However looking at the drop off in his tire performance and the fact that CL has the harder tires plus the Ferrari's power, it might be possible that CL could overtake back.
