lec fail qualify is totally team manager fault. crap strategy.

Of coz you would expect Leclerc lap time would cut down at Q3. You don't expect same lap time on FP3 and Q3.
What I mean is Leclerc found the confident at FP3 and could've a go on Q3.

That is how ferrari made a mistake, by underestimating how much other improved in qualifying. So mostly is team strategy error. But i still think the car is slow, and need to be 'wrestle' to get good time (which is hard to keep on doing consistently), something that vettel is not able to do.

I watched Hamilton's pole lap and found he's wrestle the car extraordinary, can see how his head shaking vibrate motion. It feels like that Mercedes has worst handling and can lose control anytime. But wala, that's the pole lap.

Yeah, his driving style suit the mercedes very well. Vettel is used to have the car build around him, but seems this year ferrari are not as predictable as he like.

Probably LH has more natural raw talent to handle whatever thrown at him. The Ferrari surely also would have been built around SV, just that they probably don't get it right.

LH wanted a always wanted a new rule to make F1 car harder to drive. More physically demanding.
