Hahaha well it will be amusing to see if really TR can beat McLaren but honestly for the good of the whole F1 we need the best drivers to be at the sharp end fighting for wins and podiums. Therefore I do really want McLaren to be back to winning ways to enable Alonso to properly fight with Ham & Seb coz those 3 are the true best ahead of the rest. Having Alonso struggling in the last few years is painful to see (even though I'm not a true fan of him) and doesn't do any good whatsoever for F1 IMHO, so if again they got beaten up badly again even by TR then it's F1 loss. So it will be good of TR can be more competitive but I still want McLaren to be back challenging Merc/Ferrari/RB and winning some races.

Ferrari also  achieved their best times after using hyper softs on qualifying simulation runs. Analysts said Merc has the best long run pace as shown by Bottas race simulation laps where his fastest laps were faster than Ferrari and the rest by over 1 secs! Merc did not even bother to bring the hyper softs for this test.

As expected, Mercs top with RB & Ferrari behind. Note though that RB & Ferrari were using slightly harder SS tires as opposed to Mercs on US, so still unsure of the true ultimate pace yet.

As expected also, McLaren is still ahvign reliability issues! But at least they have more competitive pace now.

Good race by Seb to be able to run that long using the softs. Good also that Ferrari was able to react effectively by switching to their plan B, so far they are able to make 2 correct pit strategy in 2 races already.

Very pity for Kimi's crew, imagine a 1000HP car launching and twisting on your leg! That also causes a potential 15 points for Kimi & Ferrari.

Excellent performance by Gasly & Ericsson. This is supposed to be a power track yet Honda finished the best of the rest! Alonso and McLaren must be scratching their heads, but having said that, Alonso now is 4th already on the standings! On the team side, looks like McLaren is firmly replacing Williams as a historically winning team but now just a midfield while Williams is replacing Sauber at the back!
