I think if you guys wanna put the casing vertically, then you should make some slight modifications. Maybe attached a hook to the case and the heatsink to take some weight away from the mobo.

Of course there is a small fee for the operation.. i cannot guarantee the success of it but then fortunately all the console i fixed was bless with good recovery, now just hoping that the treatment will last.

Nope, haven't replaced it with anything yet. It's a small thing to find even if u have the eyes of superman. But anyway have got no time to bother about it since the machine is now up up and running im busy playing games with it. Hehe.... hey Virgil wanna have next project? Open up the case again and this time we shall put some graffiti on it...hehe...hmm feasible? Erm, im not artistic by the way lol

hey guys bad news...my first 360 got 3RODed again..

I tried to test it out cause i haven't played in nearly three weeks so i decided to give it a warm up and play a few games on it...then after 15 minutes or so the picture ripped...then i knew what happened..3ROD....

Bossman Tot31 fixed it with the x clamp method some time ago...but i think after the long period of inactivity the ROD came back to haunt me...

So if anyone can help me resolve this problem even with the x clamp fix that unfortunately didnt work for me for long just PM me...

I have high hopes for virgil...

That 360 like any other of my possessions, has huge sentimental value..

But at this time im too busy and have no time to meet up with virgil , but June is where i can kick back and hopefully give it to Virgil for repairs..

But till then im the first x-clamp survivor who got 3RODed

ALSO i would like to say that just because i got the ROD even with the xclamps doesnt mean others can get it too...look at judge for example his is running just as strong as ever....so to those who got 3RODed in the past TRY the xclamp method for it might save your console...
