celciuz got it right. Press “Lock” once, then press and hold the “Remote start” button for 3 seconds. The car will turn on for 10min iinm. To turn off, press and hold the “remote start” button for 3 seconds. To extend the time for a further 5min, press lock again, and press and hold the “remote start” button.

Anyway, this is all in the manual, so do RTM tongue.gif
*
Better make it RTFM tongue.gif

Using Trapo yes, but I think that case... is high heel one. Even coil mats also will have hole if you don't have the heel pad.

Actually my Myvi using quite a thick coil mat, within 2 years the center already got hole dry.gif , but that one don't have heel pad. But then again, I think Trapo's heel pad location a bit out la, that case you've seen that person probably always stepping outside of the heel pad causing that issue.

was wondering any of the 1.8 i-vtec owner remap your car?

i felt that the potential is there but cannot 'release'
*
As 1.8 is NA, HP increase is marginal. May be considered not worth the money. If you wish, you can still do it.

The 1.5 turbo engines produce much more HP on remapping. This engine has greater potential.

Why didn't you get the turbo model in the 1st place?

So the trapo mat straight away put on the car floor board instead of the existing car mat ?

Drove the 1.8L 8Gen Civic before and felt that the power is good enough. Plus mostly is city drive, i felt that the 1.8L respond is a tad more quicker.

Just that i felt that the 1.8L power was there but cannot 'release'. CVT issue maybe?

Call insurance and they jump start for me.

Back to service center they told me may be I not turn off the engine properly.

The service advisor told me if still got this problem again they will only check. 🤔🤔
*
I think i know what is the issue. Maybe you are not turning OFF the car completely. Notice dat u need to keep holding brake and press ENGINE OFF button. If not, you will be in accessory mode , meaning in ACC mode.

Yeah place on top without the original mat below. So far I like how it traps the dust, coil mat hard to clean up (been using coil all this while).

What about the original clip on the floor used to clip onto the original mat? Cover over it with the trapo? How long have u been using it? Any durability issue?
*
Oh I've been trying to remove the clips... but wasn't successful so I just left it below since you won't be stepping directly on top of it.

Using since July 2017, so far so good.

Which is the right way to turn off the car completely? Not by pressing the start stop button only?

Anyone know tips how to remove dents on door caused by people opening their door too wide? The dent is not that big but noticeable under certain lighting angle.

Other than hot water + plunger method.

This the shop. Better leave small dint repair to the expert. But not cheap also.

Wanted to ask has anyone installed the black grill for their civic? I've just installed but it seems that it's not perfectly fit. There's some gap between the headlamp and bumper now. Is it normal or it's because I bought a poor quality grill?
