As 1.8 is NA, HP increase is marginal. May be considered not worth the money. If you wish, you can still do it.

The 1.5 turbo engines produce much more HP on remapping. This engine has greater potential.

Why didn't you get the turbo model in the 1st place?

Ya for city drive 1.8 is more than adequate. On the long run NA engines are lower cost of maintenance.

CVT is the weak link. Anyway if you get the remapping done, give us your feedback.Tq!

In theory 1.5t returns better fc than the 1.8NA. Real life fc my swing either way, and only marginally depending on driving habits.

Your greater concern will be maintenance. Long term maintenance on turbo engines will always be higher than NAs.

Having said that, many of my friends regret not getting the turbo. Low end torque from turbo engine's can be additive! There is a huge difference in acceleration! 140hp to 174hp is a huge leap in power!
