Not that I know of. That being said, I only stream at most 720p on my phone, so your mileage may vary

Normally they will limit the youtube video resolution to 480 (SD).. (Got the answer from google " ookyo youtube"😄)

Yep, keeps buffering even on 720p. Also I notice they started placing some restrictions on my unlimited app.

Most important is coverage. If TuneTalk (Celcom MVNO) reception is not good for the area you use most of the time, even they give how cheap also not much point.

Of course, once coverage settle to be fine, then yes 48 for 10GB+40GB video is better.

if many port out or cancel the account without paying. they will soon realise the mistake they have done.
definitely will miss the unlimited data access for 4 apps. but i did realise there was a bit battery drain with the VPN system.
2 things they need to change. Remove VPN.
Offer unlimited calls and sms.
For sure will bring more customers.  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

Yeah, the VPN really sucks battery. Previously used to charge my phone once or twice a day but now its 3-4 times a day.
*
I also noticed when on VPN, connection for WhatsApp is bad.. send out very slow and receive also slow..

Changed new phone.. until now never allow ookyo to install their VPN laugh.gif

8gb enough to use.. have to refrain from watching videos only

BTW, this ookyo has 4 apps with unlimited data usage right ontop of the 8gb that we get right? Is there any restriction on this unlimited thing like the resolution of the streaming that we used on Twitch or Youtube?
*
All unlimited apps have restriction..youtube only for 480p..more than that will use quota..Telegram download capped at 1MB/s..but can bypass..

FB limit to 10MB/s..but can stream video or surf normal..

Only chrome is not in the unlimited apps..but you can use FB for free surfing..streaming..

Tethering will use the 8GB quota..

Depends on:

1) Umobile's network is good on your daily use;
2) Your every day usage's is more than 4 apps;
3) Your calls is less than 10 minutes perday.

I live in Kuala Terengganu..and umobile networks here is 3g only..even the restriction is 3MB/s..i only have less than 1MB/s..

Even Youtube loading in 240p only..

For me..better ookyo..only the hassle on the VPN..don't know when they will remove it..

I ported in from Tune Talk to Hotlink in order to port in to Ookyo.
I have done it for another number previously with no issues.
But this time when I tried to port in from hotlink to ookyo, it says, sorry you're not able to port in this number to ookyo. Perhaps take a new number with us!
Can anyone enlighten me? What has gone wrong?

I tried GX30 before, really can test my patience. After a miserable month, ported out. Never ever will use umobile again.

I also encountered similar experience while trying to port in from Hotlink. I just port in 2 numbers from other telcos about a week ago. Previously I managed to port in to ookyo within hours of successful port in to Hotlink. My guess is Hotlink has a cooling off period to port out even to its own sub company. I tried to enquire about Hotlink Flex. Even for subscription to Hotlink flex, you need to wait for a month. So after a month I will give a try to port in to Ookyo again.
