I ported in from Tune Talk to Hotlink in order to port in to Ookyo. I have done it for another number previously with no issues. But this time when I tried to port in from hotlink to ookyo, it says, sorry you're not able to port in this number to ookyo. Perhaps take a new number with us! Can anyone enlighten me? What has gone wrong?

I also encountered similar experience while trying to port in from Hotlink. I just port in 2 numbers from other telcos about a week ago. Previously I managed to port in to ookyo within hours of successful port in to Hotlink. My guess is Hotlink has a cooling off period to port out even to its own sub company. I tried to enquire about Hotlink Flex. Even for subscription to Hotlink flex, you need to wait for a month. So after a month I will give a try to port in to Ookyo again.

QUOTE(jackk_91 @ Apr 23 2019, 06:41 AM) Thanks for the info! I called up hotlink, I was informed that my number is not found in their registration at all, they will sort it out.... But already 2days now, still no news. I wonder how I can use hotlink to make calls, buy hotlink packages, but my number is not registered under hotlink. I'm practically not belonged to any telco now.. I'm like a child born by a foreigner parents living in Malaysia illegally, no IC, no identity, no health benefits... I wonder whether I can switch owner under this circumstance.. Anyone faced similar problem before? I also faced similar experience within few days of port in to Hotlink. As if my 2 numbers not in their database. Weirdly I can use the sim card normally and subscribed to Hotlink weekly pass. I guess this is also one of the reason I still can't port in to Ookyo. Another member suggested to change ownership in order to expedite port in process, weird method though. But I simply can't change ownership because my wife is not so mobile and independent. In fact I took over her number ownership beforehand to make sure I can personally perform any future transaction with any telco. BTW, still tried to perform port in to Ookyo to this day and still unsuccessful.

QUOTE(michael_cool @ May 16 2019, 03:52 PM) Hi guys. Is there any possible ookyo accept shared by hotlink credit? Or the other way round, ookyo credit share to hotlink? Thx! Yes you can. I already tried. Ookyo app even have the same as Hotlink share & request option for credit. Another info, I tried to call hotlink customer service 123 via ookyo and managed to speak with the customer service rep. So basically ookyo & Hotlink is managed by the same team from Maxis.

QUOTE(michael_cool @ May 19 2019, 11:42 PM) So in ookyo, u can type: *100*4*2# to share credit ? *100*4*3# to ask topup ? Coz mostly we can find at lowyat sharing or buying hotlink credit with cheaper price. If ookyo cannot share then have to buy exactly amount... I've tried the number, but the service is not available for Ookyo. However you can use share/ask top up from Ookyo app, under wallet function.
