samsung hands down is the best tv so far.. from color and screen quality itself. with 4k extrapolation it does help with quality comparred to other tv's processing..

QUOTE(kapalterbang_737 @ Jul 5 2020, 12:18 PM) Finally upgrading to a 65inch TV from a 9 years old Sharp 32inch LCD Samsung UA65RU7100KXXM (brand new, bought from a guy who won it from lucky draw/contest) Samsung HW-R650 (second hand, 6 months old) So far I am happy & totally satisfied with both of the items. A whole new experience since 65inch is a huge leap from 32inch, took me few days to adjust » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « *pardon the allignment of tv/cabinet WOW! Big upgrade, enjoy!

The RU7100 model is now discontinued and sold out everywhere. Thanks all! We (me & wife) rarely watch any shows due to work so we never really bother to upgrade the TV. But I think now we will need to make some time to make sure the TV is gonna be fully utilized and not only for Paw Patrol/Peppa pig

My 8 years old Toshiba 55 inch just die yesterday. No display only audio sound output. I'v been visiting some electronic shops surveying which brand is good for 65 inch TV 4K. In my radar, Panasonic GX650 Android tv or is it good to go for GX600 which is smart tv. My kids just want to watch doraemon on youtube. Does Android TV superior compared to smart tv? Is it comparable with Sony KD-65X7000G 65. Or do you guys have any recommendation? Budget around RM3.5K only. The TV will be put up at a wall bracket, the same place of my died Toshiba.

Hi guys, setting up living room. Would like recommendation on a 65" 4K UHD TV, budget about 5.5k tops, but of cause if can get cheaper i'd be happier. I cant make up my mind about those good and lasting brands.
My choices would be :
Sony>Samsung>others
but then recently i've read many reviews about the upcoming China brand TCL which offers high quality TV for cheap price. Anybody has any experience with TCL or the other brands mentioned?
Aside, do ya'll have soundbars at home? worth getting a soundbar ?
