Funny question but need to ask anyway. Do you keep your 65" TV brown box? My Sony 65" is now close to 3 years but still afraid if it encounters any problem and requires repair or unforseen relocation/moving to a new house in the future where the box is needed for safe transportation?
The box is so big, sometime I feel like throwing it away but surrounded by dilemma stated above.

Over the course of +-1 yr since there has been warranty claims, they come right up to your doorstep. The box may be useful if you plan to relocate though, especially if it's a big TV and you are hiring 3rd party services. That being said, the more premium relocation services should be able to take care of fragile / sensitive equipment for you. Thanks for sharing your opinion

QUOTE(bbgoat @ May 22 2020, 09:49 AM) That is a problem. Normally tried to keep it. Folded if possible or use it to store items. Until warranty over. But the shop sometimes able to use their boxes to send it back for repair also. So may not need to keep it. QUOTE(xphr3ak @ May 22 2020, 02:15 PM) I just throw it. I have claimed warranty before. They just angkat and put in the van. Thanks for the feedback guys

QUOTE(touristking @ Jun 12 2020, 03:52 PM) So that means all LG and Panasonic wouldn't have it built in? And all Sony do? If you have specific models that you've been eyeing, guess you can chrck the spec also

QUOTE(jhleo1 @ Mar 26 2024, 10:48 PM) My Sony TV is KD-65X85L. You need to make sure the USB 3.0/TYPE C 3.0 adapter MUST come with RTL-8153 chipset. Expensive one can be TP-Link UE300. I just bought unbranded type one. https://shp.ee/6a7lpm0If you buy from other sellers do confirm with them is RTL-8153 chipset. Thanks, good tip. Been wondering about this too.
