Better get local unit @ RM1,099.00 in this case. China unit usually sold at RM600 during promotion.

Bought from Tmall back from 3 months ago at Oct 2018 for RM600+. So far so good, fast on reconnecting speed. My previous RT-AC55UHP would took around 5 minutes to reconnect after switching off then on my whole internet including BTU.

RT-AC86U is performing better, usually just connect within 1 minute after my BTU is getting uplink.

My router is not placing in open air area but hide inside a cupboard due to cable management and home designing of my house after renovation. My router was attached two cooling fans to prevent overheat.

I didn't find that when I purchased mine. I could only find those at 1.4k and if I got the twin unit, more value for money. Well now that I know this, I'll recommend it. Thanks for the heads up

Nope. My previous RT-AC86U from China runs perfectly without any issues
Offcourse, I installed 2 fans at the back of the router since day 1

frankly this is the 1st time i facing this issue..
all this time my previous all my router doesnt have this issue.. only this time..
