Hi folks,

I just for my asus 86U from china and set it up and running since last night... but i found the wifi 5ghz channel limited to 4/5 selection only if i play around with 20/40/80 ghz. And i 've set it to US region... is that normal?

Ok thanks, will try Singapore region and see it works... but i heard changing to SG region will give weaker Wifi penetration... so far US and Australia had the strongest Wifi.

I am planning to flash koolshare ROG version of 86U over the weekend !

not sure... need to test it out but koolshare got a 2 version and both version got software center which you can install additional stuffs... and their status tab on main screen which is showing cpu and wifi temperature which kinda cool....

First version is KoolShare mod edition... which base on Asus GPL and Merlin mod
Second version is ROG skin which base on Asus GPL and Merlin mod as well....

So depending which version you use or test out... but you may need to follow a lot of instruction back of forth of the firmware.

Well known issue, search for "hypptv" or "iptv" keywords in this thread.

Already did that before but the Lan data loading to stb still take about 1 minit to establish connection
