I will be watching the first few games of the Bucks and see how it goes.
Since the other teams, the roster doesnt change much so i think i would only be interested in how the rookie performs under the spotlight.
NBA, new season will start by Oct 30, 2007

QUOTE(EroS @ Aug 30 2007, 10:37 AM) dat wud depends on wat position the coach let him play..i think its most certainly PF.. so cant be compared to Yao as he plays center.. but PF defenders are usually those strong and quick defenders. so i doubt he will adapt very quickly to NBA. It be an remarkable performance if he can make it to 15pts average.. but den dat rely on the playing time he gets. N based on the history, usually the NBA coaches doesnt allow much playing time for Asian rookies.. hehheeheh.. i guess they lack confidence of us asians.. |

Added on August 30, 2007, 2:45 pmJames goes 11-for-11 in first half, carries unbeaten Americans past Uruguay 118-79 LeBron James soared for powerful dunks, pulled up for flawless 3-pointers. And when the halftime buzzer sounded, there was only one way to describe his play. Perfect. James was 11-for-11 from the field, making all four of his 3-point attempts, and scored 26 points in the first half Wednesday night to lead the United States to a 118-79 victory over Uruguay in the FIBA Americas tournament. In a sensational display of speed and power, James raised his tournament-leading shooting percentage to an almost comical 79.7 percent (47-of-59). He is 14-of-20 from 3-point range, a 70 percent mark that also leads the event. Despite playing only 14 minutes, he fell two points shy of the American record in an Olympic qualifying game shared by Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson. Whoa!
A perfect FGP in the first half. Amazing! I heard that LeBron has been struggling with his shots and he has been practicing his jump shots ever since the Finals?! So i wouldnt be surprise that he burst out like that... Poor Uruguay |

QUOTE(Cahill @ Aug 30 2007, 03:34 PM) but i think his main weakness will be strength, not sure if he could complete inside or not. if his jumpers are good then he might stand a chance. I think he has the necessary strength to compete with the NBA players. Judging from his performance in the summer league and other China games appearance, i think he is more than ever ready to handle the pressure being in the NBA. What i fear most is like you said, his jumpers... |

i just got tired pointing out that my whole reply wasn't concerning defensive player of the year at all.
Its about being a good defender. The deviation of the topic makes me obnoxious Anyhow I dont like Yi from the start. His attitude and work ethic has really put a negative mindset on me. I understand about the whole language barrier, but its a non-chalant factor to me, i'd like to be bias in my opinion. Wizards for the championship this year |

There is nothing scientific in typing that way. It's just lazy. Anyway suit yourself. As I said, feel free doing what you want to do.
