So it's snobbish to type grammatically? Come on, we are in a forum. Typing properly should be the norm. If you can't type or spell properly, it's one thing but typing like that makes it look messy and hard on the eyes.

Suit yourself.

QUOTE(-Jonathan- @ Aug 30 2007, 08:01 PM)
i just got tired pointing out that my whole reply wasn't concerning defensive player of the year at all.
Its about being a good defender. The deviation of the topic makes me obnoxious
Anyhow
I dont like Yi from the start. His attitude and work ethic has really put a negative mindset on me. I understand about the whole language barrier, but its a non-chalant factor to me, i'd like to be bias in my opinion.

Wizards for the championship this year

oo well.. who cares rite.. good defender and defensive player of the year.. wats d relation anyway huh..

Well dude, looks like u have a firm set on Yi. O well, most probably ur rite on this, i dont see any asian other den Yao to really establish their presence here.
But i gotta say tough luck on ur x-MJ drool.gif team wizards, are they having any trades dis season? I find dem hard to get to the top 3 eastern really..

U.S. beats Argentina 91-76 to clinch No. 1 seed in FIBA Americas semifinals

A new and improved U.S. team was too good for Argentina's B team.

Kobe Bryant scored 27 points -- 15 in the first quarter -- and the United States cruised into the semifinals of the FIBA Americas tournament as the No. 1 seed by beating Argentina 91-76 Thursday night.

The Americans took control early and were never threatened in the matchup with the defending Olympic gold medalists, who also came in undefeated despite playing this qualifying tournament without the core of their team.

"Tonight we had in the back of our minds was going to be one of the biggest games of the tournament," Carmelo Anthony said. "We knew that, we knew we had to come out here and be aggressive."

Anthony added 18 points and LeBron James had 15 for the Americans, who will face Puerto Rico in one of Saturday's semifinal games. A victory there gives them a berth in the 2008 Olympics.

"We're honored to be going in undefeated and playing Puerto Rico for an Olympic berth," U.S. coach Mike Krzyzewski said.

The berth seems likely for a U.S. team (8-0) that had overwhelmed its opponents before playing their toughest foe in the finale of round-robin play.

The Americans averaged 117.6 points while beating their first seven opponents by 42.7 per game, not too far from the 121.2 points and 51.5 victory margin averaged by Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and the rest of the Dream Team in the Olympics 15 years ago.

Hes one of the most volatile and unpredictable S.O.B ever.

Arsewipe plays good on days where you never predict him to, and plays like a piece of sh!t when wizard needs him most

Wizard needs a pure PF, antawn aint a pure PF. Haywood is nothing more than a hayworth

But Iverson was never a PG to begin with. He was there because they had to fit in all the stars into the team. This team is better IMO because the players that are playing are either YOUNG or they have not have a LONG post season.

iverson aint much of an pg he's more of a sg to me.. but kidd does wat his good at, he controls the pace of the game by his superb passings. to me kidd much better den billups in offense for the US team coz u dont need shooters for PG , n dey just concentrate on their assists , fast break n penetratendish to the basket.

I thought AI was there to walk/crawl under tall players? whistling.gif

The 1-2 step jumpshot is better by LBJ any day.

Blah, the top list of overpaid player is Kenyon Martin. Even before scrolling down i expected him to be there. Franchise was there when he played for Orlando, but no doubt K-"Iloveinjuries" mart is a volatile dumb arse player
