I'm using Kingston RAM, which came with Hynix. I don't trust Hynix DRAM, but I wonder why this type of OEM can simply sell?
I bought used WD10EZEX from LYN which lasted for a few months only. I'm scared with LYN seller, especially HDD/SSD.
If read the review SK Hynix Canvas SC300 still quite decent with MLC & 2D NAND. RM 90 bucks different I personally go for the Samsung TLC V-NAND.
hynix dram is ok; at least they're stable at stock speed. for oc i'm not sure. I bought used WD10EZEX from LYN which lasted for a few months only. I'm scared with LYN seller, especially HDD/SSD.

like the article said, it's better to get 240gb range for better performance. when each nand has larger capacity, that means fewer nand chips are used in ssd, which in turn means parallelism needed for sustaining ssd performance will be reduced further. this happened to crucial drives before, resulting their small capacity ssd to become under-performed/slower than advertised.
edit: note that this doesn't mean the new samsung ssd 850 is bad. from the charts, they are still performing rather fine.
