Guys are there benefits of me combining my laptop's 256GB NVMe SSD with a 1TB Firecuda or should I just go for a 1TB Baraccuda or Baracudda Pro?
I would probably install larger games on the HDD. No budget currently for a 1TB SATA SSD or NVMe. This post has been edited by Eugene91: Feb 11 2020, 03:00 PM |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jan 21 2020, 04:34 PM) Buy a PCI-e to NVMe converter card like the picture below then you will be able to get full PCI-e 3.0 X4 speed of your SX8200 Pro hi sHawTY,Install the card into the second X16 slot on your motherboard ![]() is it better to get PCI-e 3.0 x16 for a nvme ssd or it's just overkill, x4 is more than enough? btw can we just clone the existing hdd OS to the new ssd to save the hassle of reinstalling everything? if do, what is the recommended software to do so?
