QUOTE(xXDeaDXR3dDXx @ Oct 30 2019, 08:19 AM) Hey guys, I hope all is well. May I kindly request your recommendation on 1TB SSD? My fiancee has a HP Envy x360 13 inch (AMD Ryzen 2500U). Currently running 256GB and I would like to upgrade for her to 1TB. According to the product manual, the storage used is a NVMe SSD. I've gone around to check on Lazada and I'm currently leaning on to Crucial P1 NVMe SSD. I'm not really that tech savvy and also my fiancee laptops is used for her work as a Lecturer. Running a lot of data programs. I'm actually heading to Lowyat today and would like to see if you guys have any more value for money option? Any shops you would recommend in Lowyat as well would help. Thanks a lot guy! » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Which exact make and model of the Envy X360?

QUOTE(chocobo7779 @ Oct 30 2019, 01:54 PM) Which exact make and model of the Envy X360? I believe it's this model : https://support.hp.com/id-en/document/c06060294Comes with the Ryzen 5 2500U What do you guys think about Intel 660P as well? Went over Lowyat earlier and guys were recommending ADATA XPG SX 6000 for RM 489.

According to the service manual here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06027358It uses standard M.2 NVME 2280 SSDs Personally I'd go with a SX8200 Pro The SX6000 is prone to overheating so I'd avoid that one The Intel 660p is a QLC drive which means they can slow down significantly when more storage is used https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/...qlc_vs_tlc_ssd/

I believe I will go for the Intel 660P for my fiancee. She has a lot of documents and presentation. No doing any gaming or creative work.

Is there any bang for buck cheap but OK endurance SSD? Looking for on cheaper side external ssd or 2.5" ssd that can be use with external enclosure. Looking for 500g or 1tb models. I can't afford expensive external ssd as I am also looking to buy a new hp.

Just grab the 860 evo, they are usually cheaper than 850 evo and have longer durability.
