You gotta beware of the rear triangle spacing of your B, what I understand is you need to replace the rear triangle to pun in an 8 speed… 4 digit to buy the new rear triangle…

I got a quote for £394 and another nearly US$594 for the rear triangle, in titanium or stainless steel. If the B is going to be my only bike, I would do it.......but it is not. Still, nice to have 8 or 11 speeds.

There is a Sturmey Archer 8 speed which has a 120mm lock nut dimension. Most probably for Bromptons but there is a model, IHW8F.XDSS.HA2 which is 120mm. With this model, you don't need to change the rear triangle.

Anyone here have updated ETS train information? A few policies changed and i'm not sure which 1 is the latest. I'm planning to back my hometown at alor star with ets for 3 days, bagged.

Based on AhPek Biker, they now allow bagged foldie to go on board as per update at 10th May 2017.

Cow hide with suede lining. Made a few of this for some B riders.

Hahaha. it's leather actually. Cow hide is leather which still have the original colour and hair as well. Like those many use for rugs.

Hi all, been missing for quite some time due to work.
Anyway, got my first foldie. It’s a Doppelganger 217 Miragen.

Bought it used from bicyclebuysell. Wasnt rode for a long time according to the previous owner. Her paint has already faded however, the equipments are still in perfect shape.

I named her “Doppy”.

Sent Doppy for a full service, saddle change & tube replacement. I also bought some car polish kit from Mr.DIY to bring back her shine. Re-lubed and she’s good to go.

A little update on my bike, went back to supplier and he managed to get me the proper fork for the tornado with 100mm opening, all is good fit. Later will take her out for a spin. Yahoo!

Before you start u need to know
Frame material?
Original paint type?
How much time you intend to waste on it?
What quality to intend?
How short live it will last?
