hmm.. for the tech part maybe last for 3 or at most 5 years. since the proc is Core Duo instead of Core 2 Duo, it's not so "future proof" I say.
for durability personally I think it can stay longer if you handle it correctly.

bought a new laptop backpack as my Targus is spoilt... so bought a samsonite one, and thankful my dv6227tx fit nicely into the bag, they dont have bigger dimension ones left so i took the biggest they have redi, this seems to have better durability, as dv6000 series is rather heavy compared to many others, and i walked with it alot, so better get something that last longer. Anyone know if there are any TARGUS dealer that i can send my TARGUS for repair, its just the straps peeling off.... i reli like that bag, too bad it is spoilt....

Anyone can give me some link to find out the price for these dv6000 series lappy. I'm searching for dv6000 series with C2D that cost around rm4000. Is there's one fit for the price?

nope.. you won't get a dv6000 C2D series within that price range. for that price you can only get a Core Duo laptop. either Dv6205 or Dv6227. both are Rm3999. The cheapest C2D laptop for the Dv6000 series is the Dv6203 cost Rm5700.

Of course it can. Many of dv6000 user here upgrade their lappy RAM to 2GB. That's the maximum.
