QUOTE(Twinchest @ May 15 2007, 02:04 AM) What's the error message given to you? Usually when you burn a disc for recovery, it won't take that long. Tell me the error message so that i can detect the real problem. Usually this case is very rare except if your DVD is spoilt or soomething went back to the shop and ask those fellas. it seems there are certain dvd brands that they cannot support like tdk and sony. i tried another brand and it works

hi wanna ask here. does dv6000 or especially dv6227 have any problem/issues when using 1GB 667 kingston RAM?
I feel like wanna buy it for my laptop which i didn't get yet. And I afraid that the ram price will suddenly increase.

even i get the backpack but im getting a new one soon.... a samsonite wan, my fren can get 15% discount. This targus looks nice but its not good enuf, not spacious enough, barely enuf for me to put stuff in..... and the support strap is not well designed, the force are all concentrating on the sides of the strap, so within days, the lines are getting off redi, i have no idea how long it can stay, including the laptop accessories and my stuff, i carried nearly 5kg of stuff in my bag everyday to uni, taking nearly 30 minutes walk, so not very practical for me.... it wont last very long.... but if u are not heavy user like me, shuld be a good and nice bag...

Awww dude... this is sh*t man. Turn on to find a notice that the Vista in my lappie is not genuine, thus asking for the prudoct key. Key in the key according to the OEM sticker behind the lappie and still it's not accepted. What's the problem? Has anyone faced this problem so far? It couldnt be the techies from HP tower (sent once there to replace my mobo) or ppl stealing the product key, as I've been using it at home ever since I got it. Sigh.... headache man. Maybe it has to do with your mobo being replaced... since it's OEM the OS should recognize your laptop right (but now with a different mobo maybe it doesnt)? Before you got it replaced you didn't have a problem? Did you un/reinstall Vista at any point? o.O

QUOTE(eddie89 @ May 23 2007, 09:09 PM) HP Pavillion DV6227TX is it a good buy? Before answering it...what are you going to run on a laptop..? It's all depends on what you need, Hp DV6227tx is preety sufficient for a student....i think moderate gaming is still acceptable....but don't forget it's a laptop.... .....what's your budget..?
