Not bad. I stand corrected a second time. So RM10 speed upgrade, free calls and Jumbo pack.

Inb4 complains about unfair, better get the upgrade before it kena tarik balk.

The way TM price their products, they should just sell Unifi Surprise boxes where you don’t know what you’re getting or flash sale RM10 speed upgrade for the next 3hrs. :-)

I think can swap also. Yesterday's post there was someone who did the upgrade and got Jumbo and also, at the same, changed his Aneka to Ruby.

Did you have 600min free calls before the upgrade? Cause got conflicting reports. Some say the RM10 upgrade will also give 600mins, same say no.

Normally no, they won’t replace it if it’s still working. However, because of the renewed 1-yr warranty, they will replace it should any misfortune befall it. smile.gif

But seriously when I upgraded from 10 to 30 with contract and warranty renewal, I reported pixelation and lag problems with the old STB. They came to check and couldn’t find the problem so they just assumed it was the STB and replaced it. Later I found out that it was a router misconfiguration on my part that caused it.

Good point. Will need to clarify this because I remember one of the TnC is "Terminating Jumbo Pack or STD20 will remove discount.". So if Zi-Tech is right, RM189 for 1st year of contract and RM249 for 2nd year of contract.

Next person to go for upgrade, please check on this.

I must admit I was quite excited when signing up for this but I don't recall anything in the TnC read to me by the CS which says Jumbo pack is free only for the first year but this statement "Terminating Jumbo Pack or STD20 will remove discount." I remember very clearly. Why do they have that in there if not to prevent us from terminating Jumbo after 1yr? However she also said that the discount is RM200 and not RM200 for the first year and RM140 for the second year.

Going back to the SMS "RM0.00 TM: Enjoy Speed Upgrade & HyppTV Jumbo Pack worth RM720 for just RM10/mth. Call 100 (Press 4) or visit nearest TMpoint. Grab the offer now! T&C apply", perhaps they meant to say "...HyppTV Jumbo Pack worth RM720 per year..." but could not do so due to SMS max 160 chars.

Will have to call and clarify with TM tomorrow.

You can remove Jumbo if you like but you must have one remaining package such as Aneka, Ruby or Varnam.

Probably and more, because the TnC, read to me, includes "Terminating Jumbo Pack or STD20 will remove discount." Throughout the registration, the discount is mentioned as RM200.
(100mbps 299 + Existing Ruby 30 + Jumbo 60 = 389 less discount 200 = RM189)

Same here, waiting for BTU replacement. No-one call me yet. Mine is the old Huawei HG850a with 100mbit ports. Hope the new models are as reliable. This Huawei not a single problem since VIP5.

I think it's always been in there no? I'm not sure but this is from the Service Acceptance Form for my friend from July or August 2016.

Just try and see. Path of least resistance first, call 100. If cannot then try TMPoint. I didn't receive the SMS either but managed to upgrade by calling 100 last Friday. I'm VIP5 - VIP10 - Advance30 - TQSurprise50 before this latest upgrade.

I think we might be talking about 2 things, FUP and the quota. Quota we know don't have for now. FUP is more like a vague blanket insurance for the ISP. I'm sure every ISP has one just to cover their asses.

Hmm, my BTU's LEDs all suddenly blinking green. No internet, no phone. Looks like a problem with the 12V PSU. Made a report, I wonder if they'll come and change a new BTU for me or just the power supply.
