damn shitmyx. . . can't get into the netz for like 3 days. . .

anyway. . . 8 string ftw!!! but damn expensive. . . =(

the MM petrucci 7 would definately cost more than 12k . . . cause the 6 string version with full specs(ie. piezo, inlays, DiMarzio pup, and wiring) costs around 12k if i'm not mistaken. . .

or you can try Conklin guitars =D

be the first in Malaysia to own 1 xD

any of you 7's going for that BOSS event? i can't make it cause of my damn exams =.=

lol..Musicman is around 1.3-1.7k USD only lar brother lol!

unless its a Musicman EVH..that would cost up to 3k..yeap..RM12k..(eh currency 3.4 now..cannot x4 tongue.gif )

Petrucci's signature , Steve Morse and all are the same league ...below 2k.. they don't have a custom shop (not that i know of)

anyway

LGM guitars . is basically a Custom guitar maker ...specially for shredders smile.gif

the top 2 "Modern" Shredders Dream guitar would be
1.Vigier
2. LGM

http://www.lgmguitars.com/home.html

do check it out ! price pretty reasonable for a custom too !

The basic JP6 is around RM10,xxx; JP7 around RM11,xxx.
The BFR JP7 F1 is RM14,xxx; JP6 F1 is RM13,xxx.
Prices are for fully loaded ones; and BFRs are only available in one configuration - fully loaded.

Everdying: That would be the price if you manage to get one in the US.

An EBMM EVH cost around RM6k back in the 90s, it can fetch up to RM30k now.

eh ..that one not counted . that one ball family reserve all the special sh1t coming in.. tongue.gif

anyway..i don't quite see the point on spending 2.8k for this kind of specs lar ..

i could get myself some super kick ass inlay , and..birdseye maple fingerboard..woohoo!
some cool bindings , some exotic wood ...wah..i could go on forever..for 2.8k usd..

Rossie : if its RM10k+ to get me a 6 string JP...i would fly to U.S ..buy one , holiday for 1 week and come back to Malaysia . i think i still have some money left

I remember in the mid 2005' when i was there , Guitar center was having some super promotion for Musicman Petrucci for like 950 USD with hardcase and ..BC RICH NJ series for 500 USD ..that was their best buy display right when you enter the store

wow. . . abit the expensive right? and also i remember that the JP starts off with simple stuff no piezo, MM pups, no inlay and stuff lar. . . so plus all around Rossie price. . .

anyway the custon guitar so damn pointy. . . i mean funny shapes. . . i'm more of a normal looking guitar guy. . . lmao. . .

but the price is quite decent =D

prefer conklin though cause they use uber wood materials xD

plus shipping everything can kill me d lmao. . .

The point is, if someone whose already willing to spend that kind of money on a guitar, I believe he wouldn't mind paying extra.

It would be nice to have a JP7, there's a hand full of songs that I still can't play without a 7.

In 2005, EBMM have not yet raise their price by 15%, as at Sep 15th last year. USD2,800 for the JP6 is cheap; it will cost you around USD4,000 to get it from Bentley/Sinamex. How much more would you pay for a same graded top on a PRS? Obviously it will cost much more. Getting your guitar in the US, and bringing it back here, although you're getting a killer of a price, but you inadvertedly discounted the customer service along with it. Your warranty won't be valid in another country than you bought it in.
Another cool thing about EBMM is they will refret or do some major setup for you, provided that you ship your guitar back to them. Not sure whether Bentley provides this kind of service, but Sinamex definitely does.

Ok, enough for the rant. Hope I didn't bore you guys to death...

No link though, check with your preferred dealer for more info.
If your dealer isn't willing to help you ship your guitar, you could always ship them yourself, email Kevin or Beth for more info on this:

just 2 things to say.
1. that guy had a stupid thread complaining about some guy, cos he didnt get his cut.
ie. he was re-selling.
2. so no idea how much he bought it at.
but if you search thru there were a couple of 7-string warlocks that sold for rm1.0 / 1.1k.

Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome smile.gif

Just back from a forum jamming session. Got to admit something, you know your LYN jam? I organized a jam session on the forum that I'm modding too, got inspiration from you guys. And it was Silver Isle's link to here again that got me organizing that jamming session. Thanks again for the idea! We had a lots of fun!
