lol, I din't know that there was a Ibanez 7-string Gio
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/449395 Anyway I just went down to Bentley just now, did not see any 7-stringers around. But I got myself a Ibanez catalogue 2007. I also saw a badass 6-string bass which cost as much as Dream Theater John Myung Signature RBX-JM2 Bass. |

i kno. . . i like that bass. . . looks damn sleek and im a sucker for Matt guitars. . . especially natural finish guitars. . . and it's bartolini's =D |

RG7321 is around 1.8kWith a 2k++ budget what other amp to combo with? Roland Cube series? I won't be stepping into the guitar world so soon. Just curious btw, my friend gone down the 6-string path |

well. . . honestly the 7 strings are quite expensive to play around if you want it to sound good. . . if you use cheap amps the amp may not be able to handle the low B thus resulting in really crappy sounding lows. . .
my suggestion is get the guitar and save up for a decent amp. . . no point wasting RM200 on the amp and later changing it. . . could've just saved the 200 and get a decent amp. . . swt why he go 6 lar. . . =( |

Argh... I just trawled through Ishibashi for sake of it just now and calculated how much a UV777BK would cost. Comes up to about RM6.9k inclusive of shipping and tax... <sigh> the grass is always greener on the other side...
IIRC, the new UV777BK neck profile is the same as the Wizard7 Prestige... super-high gloss finish, abalone body binding and neck binding... grrr, GAS! |

Laney also. . . technically all those gain amps would fare well with the low B. . . but not too much as it may cause the B to sound muddy. .. unless of course you change the pups or something. .. Nope, mine got no gloss. Then again, guess I'll have to re-GAS for something else... like the bloody 8427 J-Custom, which IIRC is actually more expensive than the dang UV777BK! and vai 1 not that good lar. . . overpriced hehe =) unless you play his songs and aspire to be him xD whoa... carvin legacy... what kind of gospel music you guys play lah?! Necromanticide-style Christian extreme metal? |
