how much is your budget? cause maple i think ESP / Jackson got. . . but gonna cost a bomb. . .

mostly all the 7 i saw all is in dark colours. . .

also thin necks your only best hope is Jackson. .. unless you do an ESP custom =.=

i want the 8 string. . .but can't afford it. . . it's 6750. . . and also if i want mine it has to have a high A instead of the low F#/G and the ibz 8 don't come setup for that. . .

just cos the 8-string comes with a low F#, doesnt mean it cant be set up with a high A.
unless theres something im missing here.

IIRC the Jeff Loomis signature Schechter is maple fretboard one... neck should be thin/fast also, considering he's such a mofo... hehe...

but the schecter neck ain't that thin. . . it's a C if i'm not mistaken

Ok... how about the UV777GR? IMO the color and color combination is utterly hideous... but it's the only Universe with a maple fretboard. Neck profile should be like other Universes... but but it doesn't have the AANJ, so you're stuck with the old-school bolt-on neck joint.

Of course, getting your hands on one of these is a different story altogether... very limited production run... very hard to find. jemsite used price guide is on average about USD8xx-USD13xx.

well i don't recommend the Vai guitars. . . just don't have the feel for them. . . overrated actually IMHO. . .

what you could do is get the Washburn / 7321 and ask warmoth or some local luthier to make you a neck. . . reason why wash or the 7321 is cause the guitar is cheap. . . but since you want a bar. . . then get the 1527 and change the neck

Hey 7 String Pros, Beatmasta was asking me where to find K7 necks, I think he wants to replace one of the necks in his guitar or something, and also a question of whether would it fit.

I couldn't answer him coz I don't know jack

so Jee and Jin is 2 diff ppl?

K7 necks only place is Bentley. . . have to ask them to bring in. . . it would fit if the guitar has the 1527 body. . . cause the APEX/K7 models are modeled after the 1527

I just went to the Customs to pick up my guitar..
they told me , high end guitars from ishibashi is like ..average like 20-30 pieces a month...that is ..high end , imagine those small small items that dun need go through customs..all add up ?

so , now they got strictly 10% tax no nego. already
thats why i got screwed over today

i remember a number of years ago theres this low end 7 string ibanez with licenced FR at a shop in kch. roughly around 1k before discount. which model is it and how does it rate?

or you can try other guitar makers and customize a neck for yourself. . .
