Seriously? Fiber optic vs copper what do u think wink.gif For me Streamyx is stable and still using while waiting for a better fiber plan but suffering with slow upload speed.

sometimes it depends what kind thing you are using in internet.
If you just browsing, research and email should be fine with others sharing.
If you are using for download and upload heavy stuff, streamyx cannot cope with it then you need to move forward.

Unifi is rock-solid stable for me, loving the high upload speed.
Not saying that Streamyx was regularly unstable; most of the time it was good too with only the occasional bout of HRC and CRC errors 2 or 3 times a week and infrequent connection outages for 2 to 10 minutes around 4.30 and 11.30pm.

Your streamyx and tel line will be discontinued, just a matter of time.

Take the cheaper RM129 package if you think you don't need the free call

Got a call from TM today. The chap asked if I was still on Streamyx (probably his records have yet to be updated), and offered me Webe with unlimited data and calling to all networks for RM83.74 including GST, no contract or deposit required. I politely declined.

Hoping that in the near future they'll offer unifi lite (no hypp tv) with webe for a lower combined price.

cheaper + faster ping response + extra 2Mbps ... it's a no brainer tongue.gif

and also since it is optic fiber, it is safer when there's lightning - lightning surges wont be able to travel thru the fiber unlike copper (killed a few phones, modems, ethernet cards in the past when i was using streamyx).

plus, if u need faster speed later, can always upgrade.

Saw in HyppTv fb that there is joint promo between TM & Netflix.
Anyone has more input on this?
