Considering subscribing.

I am also a user of U.Lite. 1 device streaming is sufficient. Since streaming now a days only will have it's bandwidth download when you're watching the movie. If you pause, the streaming would stop instead of downloading the entire movie...

The cost of copper lost is little only compare to other overhead cost needed to get it fixed.

Fibre cables has no scrap value compare to copper

My current 4Mbps streamyx is able to stream 1080 HD movie when whole family is watching the movie (no one using other devices),

But if every one is on their own with their Android phone and Notebook during non movie time, all become slow.

This shows that the wireless router is the one having bottle neck servicing many concurrent user at the same time.

This is the reason i consider getting a MU-MIMO wireless router right now, it can serve many concurrent multi user well (please check youtube for "MU-MIMO Technology")

anyone has experience with this kind of wireless modem?

-guys, anyone of you able to download the e-bill (pdf format) from unifi portal yet?
-and for your first bill, did you get TMrewards points credit into your account?

1) no issues with ebill. can download easily.

2) tmrewards, i noticed it will credited on the following month, not on the same bill month. also, i noticed it gets credited on 10th/11th of the following month. not sure if everyone follow the same date.

sometimes i dont bother much because the points = payment amount, not the actual billed amount.

WTF i constantly failed to register new Unifi portal due to the TAC SMS code always delayed, it's impossible to key in the code within the time frame

i got budget around RM120 also, but i dun wan unifi coz a bit expensive, and 30mbps too much for me....

so boleh on this one? any thing i need to take care?

This plan betul betul on. IMO, it's a good deal for 10mbps light usage.

hi guys, my house unifi lite is scheduled to be installed this saturday. Both my friends who installed before got the installer number 3 to 5 days before the installation. By right I should be getting call from TM about the installer by today also right?

When should I be calling TM if they did not call me about it?

want ask, if i use lite version first, then swap to 30mbps version, boleh kah? ada charge?

Don't worry. The installer would contact you in advance. Installers are sub-contractors appointed by TM.

Yes. You can upgrade anytime, it will renew the contact back to 2 years. (no choice)

Yes. Usually upgrade won't have issue. Downgrade, depends on the TMPoint agent.

So you try Lite first, then after that upgrade to 179 for 30mbps (free 50mbps).

3 months usage, then renew again start from the date you up to 30mbps.

As of now, no download/upload limit on all Unifi Package.

The C1200 TP Link got QoS function. Therefore you can prioritize according to device/mac address.

For example,

The bandwidth will allocate according to the level if all 3 device is streaming together.

Device A - High 60%
Device B - Medium 30%
Device C - Low 10%

If only Device C is connecting to the network, it'll get full speed. But if Device B also connects to network, it'll allocate priority to B instead of C.
