QUOTE(hylaslee @ Sep 27 2017, 02:02 PM) Hi Keatsan I am also a user of U.Lite. 1 device streaming is sufficient. Since streaming now a days only will have it's bandwidth download when you're watching the movie. If you pause, the streaming would stop instead of downloading the entire movie...Thank you your advice . If everytime i only using either 1 device streaming , is that good enough ? Any one could share the experience after change to UNIFI LITE , Mi Box or whatever TV box is smooth when using it ? |

QUOTE(skywardsword @ Sep 27 2017, 01:56 PM) If cable stealing can result in rm30~50 difference in price. I imagine copper cable is freakishly expensive. The cost of copper lost is little only compare to other overhead cost needed to get it fixed.Plus another reason I reckon is, lightning strike. Copper must be causing lots of damage at exchanges and home modems....Ect. QUOTE(Keatsan @ Sep 27 2017, 11:57 AM) 10Mbps technically is sufficient for online streaming, but 720p for two devices could be a bit struggling. My current 4Mbps streamyx is able to stream 1080 HD movie when whole family is watching the movie (no one using other devices), But if every one is on their own with their Android phone and Notebook during non movie time, all become slow. This shows that the wireless router is the one having bottle neck servicing many concurrent user at the same time. This is the reason i consider getting a MU-MIMO wireless router right now, it can serve many concurrent multi user well (please check youtube for "MU-MIMO Technology") anyone has experience with this kind of wireless modem? D-Link has promo now till 8 Oct 17 This post has been edited by Alex9182: Sep 27 2017, 04:07 PM |

QUOTE(birain @ Sep 27 2017, 04:32 PM) -guys, anyone of you able to download the e-bill (pdf format) from unifi portal yet? 1) no issues with ebill. can download easily.-and for your first bill, did you get TMrewards points credit into your account? 2) tmrewards, i noticed it will credited on the following month, not on the same bill month. also, i noticed it gets credited on 10th/11th of the following month. not sure if everyone follow the same date. sometimes i dont bother much because the points = payment amount, not the actual billed amount. |

hi guys, my house unifi lite is scheduled to be installed this saturday. Both my friends who installed before got the installer number 3 to 5 days before the installation. By right I should be getting call from TM about the installer by today also right?
When should I be calling TM if they did not call me about it? |

The installer would contact you in advance. Installers are sub-contractors appointed by TM. When should I be calling TM if they did not call me about it? QUOTE(alexkos @ Sep 28 2017, 10:40 AM) Yes. You can upgrade anytime, it will renew the contact back to 2 years. (no choice) |

Usually upgrade won't have issue. Downgrade, depends on the TMPoint agent.no penalty ah? if like that, alex on liao lo can clash of clan everynight lol So you try Lite first, then after that upgrade to 179 for 30mbps (free 50mbps). 3 months usage, then renew again start from the date you up to 30mbps. |

QUOTE(alexkos @ Sep 28 2017, 11:03 AM) As of now, no download/upload limit on all Unifi Package.QUOTE(alexkos @ Sep 28 2017, 11:04 AM) itu unifi supplied router, can do quota for each connected device? The C1200 TP Link got QoS function. Therefore you can prioritize according to device/mac address.e.g. i sama abang use.... so we 50/50, set quota, on? For example, The bandwidth will allocate according to the level if all 3 device is streaming together. Device A - High 60% Device B - Medium 30% Device C - Low 10% If only Device C is connecting to the network, it'll get full speed. But if Device B also connects to network, it'll allocate priority to B instead of C. |
