Ya, i hope they give me this model (TP Link C1200).
is TM TP-Link Archer C2 unit using the same firmware? if yes, how to go around with the problem?
Hope you get the 2 antenna one, that may be the C5v2 but that's AC1200 not 750. It's much better than the 3 antenna C1200. I know that's still available because a new coffee shop here opened in the last month is using a C5v2.
Archer C1200 v2.x (no data for v1.x) uses BCM47189 ARM Cortex A7 900 MHz (2x2 MIMO despite the 3rd antenna)
Other routers which uses this SoC: ASUS RT-AC1200G
Archer C5 v2.x uses BCM47081 ARM Cortex A9 800 MHz (2x2 MIMO)
Other routers which uses this SoC: Linksys EA6350(Time's 500mbps router), D-Link DIR-868L rev A1 & ASUS RT-AC56S
Archer C5 v1 uses QCA9558 720 MHz but only 2 out of 3 possible wlan chains (2x2 MIMO).
Other routers which uses this SoC: Archer C7, Mikrotik hAP AC, TL-WR1043ND, TL-WDR7500.

I was first given c1200 but it was causing me issue and I end up get to swap to rgx4400 and that is the best thing ever for me.. very happy with the router and please with it ...no issue connect at 5ghz band and also previously old router I need to use repeater but now with this rgx4400 the signal can reach to the far corner of my house... me thinks it is actually good!
Yeah, 100% agree that's a very good router. I even bought 1 from garage sales just to try it out after first encountering it at a coffee shop running 100mbps. Buatan Malaysia the best.
some info here:
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3994248btw, when did you swap for it? I wonder if can still request for it now that TM seems to be giving out only C1200 and 850L.
