Wah the shark skin is cheap. How come I don't see any? I only saw shark skin from Scuba Warehouse and it's not that cheap. Would have gotten the pants if saw it

There's clearance in Scubatex shop. But those are made in Msia.
Mine... was some lucky stock which made in Aus and its clearance set as well.

hmm correct me if im wrong but isnt sharkskin manufactured in australia to begin with? unless there is local production model i dont see any articles saying so. plus i heard rumors that some batches of sharkskin chillproof has some tearing/ripping scandals. care to enlighten me? since im interested in buying them one day

There are 3 different places that manufactured Sharkskin - Malaysia, Australia and China.
The best of the best is China manufactured sharskin as its uses latest technology.

While Malaysia is the worse, as the stitching may come out after 2 months, some claim the fabrics cannot last long. Well, if u so happen that u been many dive shops, u may hear their stories...

So safest bet is to look for Sharkskin that made in Australia and of coz it do comes with premium price.

If possible, go for ForthElement la... hahaha...

Last Day, few booth almost got me drunk, keep giving booze and beers to celebrate!

Anyway, this year was not a very good year for MIDE. Market slow, GE around the corner, exhibition was not strategic in place. Parking outside the hall were horrendous, discount was terrible on accessories.

I'm heading to TDEX soon this weekend. Gonna be another round of roller coaster!

i do own a fourth element proteus II 3mm but i was thinking of layering with the sharkskin chillproof since there isnt anything similar from fourth element, the thermocline full suit doesnt count as one aspect im looking for is the ankle and thumb loops

and i see so there are 3 locations they are manufactured in, thanks for the tip x.D

Done that before, nothing is more miserable than wearing one full suit over another.

Consider a neoprene shorty to layer under your full suit, it should be more effective than the sharkskin. Or a thicker suit.

Did you see the package by Fun & Sun? It's in MYR and I believe it's also cheaper, includes full equipment too. Not sure about the quality of the resort and dives though.

Fun & Sun was amazing when I was diving with them in Coron. They said their Malapascua team is larger though. Please do report back on your trip with Devocan Divers after you go with them
