btw can anyone explain how he deploy the sausage? he blow air using mouth?

Yes he use air from his mouth. But If you do it from 5m you need to blow maybe 2 times. This is a demonstration only. I doubt he blew the sausage till it is "hard" on the surface.

The foundation of doing that is the ability to perform a horizontal hover.

That style of SMB deployment is the one-breath oral inflation. You need an SMB with an oral inflation valve to do it.

Here's another video, with captions.

wooolala... just received a new dive com to play... Garmin MK1 Descent
I wonder how to use it? Anybody tried this one b4?

If anyone of u wanna grab MK1 for a super duper price! PM me as well. I give u a price outside may have hard time to challenged it! TnC applied tho... Current selling price is RM4599 - 6% promo "gst discount"

On the other hand, my Suunto D6i All Black, letting go at reasonable price. PM me if anyone of u interested. Been well taken care and serviced recently - Apr 2018, less than 70 dives.

It's quite easy to use the dive functions on it, figured out within 5 minutes of playing all the main functions I would use. The manual should list out all the other things it can do.

Not interested to get it since it's a first-generation product. Much prefer the Perdix AI at this point.

The eon core, like the eon steel, comes with a really good electronic compass.

You are talking about Tenggol right? You need to book with the resorts there first. It's not like Tioman/Redang/Perhentian. Ferry transfer is by the resort itself. Whole island only has 3 resorts.

All those brands you listed are name brands. But I think Waterproof is a class above, they are very well-made and use quality materials. A 3mm full wetsuit is normally enough for the tropical waters around here. There's other ways to keep yourself warm, like drying yourself, sunning yourself, drinking hot water, towels, etc.

To practice skills after your training, 1) make a plan for what skills you want to practice, 2) make an appointment with the pool dive center, 3) show up and do your pool dive.

Can get anyone that you feel is stylish and within your budget. They are somewhat similar. Just make sure its 3mm thick.

You practice skills in pool with your instructor during your open water course. He will guide you on multiple skills to do and complete. Of course the pool will be at least 2 meters at the deepest end.

Which dive center you are taking your course with? Going to which island? Have fun and enjoy the course!
