Apparently after the release of Honda CRV G5, Honda had remove the radar sensor in Honda Malaysia market for vehicle like Honda City, HR-V, WR-V and Civic FE. Due to many people complaint and backlash only Honda decided to revert back to millimetre wave radar sensor for Honda CRV G6.

Some may recalled an incident where the latest HR-V abruptly made an emergency brake under the flyover as the Honda Sensing sense there is obstruction infront (which is none)

I believe radar is only for the ACC as it works based on reflection which detects the distance and speed of the subjects. LKAS is still based on the camera which will suffer the same during heavy rain, since it's more on visual.

Radar detector suffer from heavy rain too as the system will be turn off and notification pops out. Happen once.

yes it will, read somewhere before that those radar mounted behind the car logo emblems are more sensitive than those below the number plate. though not sure if it's true or not

maybe those who has both can share a bit on the experience

Yeah I use wireless CarPlay on the wireless charger, no issues so far on 13 Pro

My phone does not have wireless charging and wanted to have the phone being cooled with aircond while being charged... I tried baseus and the magnet just not strong enough so reaching out to hear what y'all been using

by putting your phone in the middle cup holder will make your phone cold,, or even at the wireless charging area, also will make your phone cold

if you dont use the car wireless charger, make sure to off it

Hello, anyone faces issue on GPS signal wonky when using wireless carplay on CRV gen 6? signal is intermittent and show the wrong position

im on iphone 13.

I’m using MagSafe wireless charger that attached to the centre aircond vent to wirelessly charge my phone fast cause it reduces the heat generated during induction charger.

Check your phone settings. Never had any issue with using Waze using wireless Apple CarPlay.

Do you have any idea how I can remove the front plate as I would like to stick the RFID sticker behind the plate?

it seems like it's not as easy as those Toyota ones...

You have to remove it manually, since its using double sided tape
