do u experience any weird sound while driving above 80kmh with rear windows open? something like flapping sound. im trying to resolve that. not on my G6 but on my FC which currently using Michelin P4. my wife car GM6 also facing the same sound using Michelin XM2+. I cant recall whether the same sound appear when using stock Conti CC. now i have fear using michelin tyre..

202 with ACC on  wow lol did the car drive itself sustained at that speed? Or did you accelerate manually?

Rajin sikit, don't stick to one SA, check with multiple, like from XHS. My colleague got his car in May, surprisingly 15k rebate + 3k service voucher. U just text them ask for their best discount, choose from highest, those only give what Honda offer can let them fly kite.

But  if you stay in JB just forget abt it unless you willing to come to Selangor to collect your car. Last time agent in johor only give me 8k, PJ terus give 13k even before we meet. Some more ready stock

I guess I am outdated. It seems most car manufacturer defaulted to 0W20 nowadays using the newer SP grade that can withstand higher temp that comes with turbo with better fuel efficiency and faster lubrication.

Like that there is no reason to use xW30 oil for daily drive anymore unless it was used for consistent severe high performance drive.

My old honda's engines still have to use 5W30 FS tho...

just that new info, most foremen at the workshop don't have these ideas, and keep on suggesting 5w40 fully synthetic to most car users.

For the majority of layman, no issue, can use.

But I would like to think if Honda is going to use for its direct injection engine (particularly down sized turbo direct injection like CRV 1.5 turbo), then the oil life monitoring would need to be more stringent and most likely lower intervals to deal with fuel diluting

Thinner 0w16 would also be more expensive

Just this 2 items would irritate and anger majority of customers I'm sure.

I read about fuel dilution problem for the American market. So when I got mine, I check my fuel dip level very carefully and it doesn't rise at all. So my conclusion is, there is unlikely to be fuel dilution issue in our hot climate. Now I  just don't bother and just enjoy the drive.

Actually, is the other way around, as the fuel thin out oil and it's easier for oil to get evaporation if when it finally reaches hot temps

And the thing with fuel is that it permanently (but of course, very slowly) degrades viscosity index

Meaning, it becomes the opposite that oil is thicker on cold, thinner on hot.
Generally, a bit more (and obviously not too much definitely not entire 4 liters. D) is better when combating fuel dilution

Issue is when centers pump from drum or follow by the book, the oil level will only be around middle

So generally manual requires around 3-3.2 liters
You could top up additional 200-400ML to get full marks (lol) on dipstick

By now most people would realise, this is really enthusiasts level and splitting hairs.
Few hundred ml for 2 oil changes within a year wouldn't make much difference. And most certainly not within the 5 years warranty manufacturer covers.

What it definitely would help is better engine health over much longer duration (so this is the risk of used cars, lol)
And how much this alleviate against owner application and usage (hard driving, cold start straight whack, modifications, ECU remap, missed oil change intervals etc) and, manufacturers "planned obsolescence"

Honda's steering wheel  is not good enough . my palm feels soar if been holding it too long . it doesn't has the cushion that most conti cars have.

lol...in sports mode you need to grip tight. The torque is quite impressive.
