Honestly for V is for the camera 360. Any good people here can advise usability and quality of 360 inside V? |

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Aug 7 2025, 04:39 PM) Rajin sikit, don't stick to one SA, check with multiple, like from XHS. My colleague got his car in May, surprisingly 15k rebate + 3k service voucher. U just text them ask for their best discount, choose from highest, those only give what Honda offer can let them fly kite. Yup mostly super high rebates at KV,so during my ketam time I went all the way there to get it extra 5k, worth it as so happen went for business tripBut if you stay in JB just forget abt it unless you willing to come to Selangor to collect your car. Last time agent in johor only give me 8k, PJ terus give 13k even before we meet. Some more ready stock |

QUOTE(Cavino @ Aug 27 2025, 08:50 AM) I guess I am outdated. It seems most car manufacturer defaulted to 0W20 nowadays using the newer SP grade that can withstand higher temp that comes with turbo with better fuel efficiency and faster lubrication. Somehow if 0/5w30 good fr L15;1.5T as avoid dilution in engine as the head gasket designed too narrow and also better for older engine like 90k km above .Like that there is no reason to use xW30 oil for daily drive anymore unless it was used for consistent severe high performance drive. My old honda's engines still have to use 5W30 FS tho... Also the diff between 0-20 also not much |

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Aug 27 2025, 09:10 AM) just that new info, most foremen at the workshop don't have these ideas, and keep on suggesting 5w40 fully synthetic to most car users. It's bad 40 too thick for engine components, already not suggested for the 1.5T it's up to 5-30 in manual. Also damaging is outside foremen like to pour all 4lits oil in it regardless of the manual says usually around 3.4-3.6 liters. I usually need to reduce it to the amount for them to another bottle,as I changed every 5k km with my 0-20w outside of SC |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 19 2025, 10:45 AM) For the majority of layman, no issue, can use. True in the dilution but luckily our weather is hot n better petrol vs frm US ,where the accord/civic 1.5t owners faces massive head gasket leaks But I would like to think if Honda is going to use for its direct injection engine (particularly down sized turbo direct injection like CRV 1.5 turbo), then the oil life monitoring would need to be more stringent and most likely lower intervals to deal with fuel diluting Thinner 0w16 would also be more expensive Just this 2 items would irritate and anger majority of customers I'm sure. So my case I use 0-20 with up to 6k km intervals n 0/5-30 after 100k km mileage Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(touristking @ Sep 19 2025, 11:13 AM) I read about fuel dilution problem for the American market. So when I got mine, I check my fuel dip level very carefully and it doesn't rise at all. So my conclusion is, there is unlikely to be fuel dilution issue in our hot climate. Now I just don't bother and just enjoy the drive. Sure will hv dilution or increase volume when run short trips most of the time, my FC had this but ofcourse our car run hot weather will burnt off faster n I see tht sometimes techs add more Eo,so when I do out side service always measure enuff volumes n not 4lits all the way poured in Quazacolt liked this post

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Sep 20 2025, 11:01 AM) Actually, is the other way around, as the fuel thin out oil and it's easier for oil to get evaporation if when it finally reaches hot temps After sometime after service, the level usually past Max level.thts the worrying partAnd the thing with fuel is that it permanently (but of course, very slowly) degrades viscosity index Meaning, it becomes the opposite that oil is thicker on cold, thinner on hot. Generally, a bit more (and obviously not too much definitely not entire 4 liters. D) is better when combating fuel dilution Issue is when centers pump from drum or follow by the book, the oil level will only be around middle So generally manual requires around 3-3.2 liters You could top up additional 200-400ML to get full marks (lol) on dipstick - By now most people would realise, this is really enthusiasts level and splitting hairs. Few hundred ml for 2 oil changes within a year wouldn't make much difference. And most certainly not within the 5 years warranty manufacturer covers. What it definitely would help is better engine health over much longer duration (so this is the risk of used cars, lol) And how much this alleviate against owner application and usage (hard driving, cold start straight whack, modifications, ECU remap, missed oil change intervals etc) and, manufacturers "planned obsolescence" Quazacolt liked this post
