Did you install modulo body kit as well? Is ABS better than PU?

I DIY myself the urban package using OEM not from Honda Access accessory for a fraction of the price. Around RM 3xx. Modulo package is nice but can get aftermarket ones since the price is so much different. Door handle protection you’re better off with outside providing PPF package. Reflective film doesn’t do much other than telling others “hey my door is open”.

I only let Honda to do tinting and install front and rear dash cams, since both are close to the honda sensing camera. Of course the eco tint can't compare to Vkool or 3m, but I am satisfying with its heat resistant. Those accessories like body kit or stepping board are just for comestic changes so can do at outside, it won't affect warranty as long as you don't touch on any electrical components. But if you change rim then might affect your warranty on parts relate to wheel. For coating I will do at subang next week. My agent also privately told me better do at outside. If you have budget, can do PPF.

Well if you’re afraid of warranty issue then you may seek for Honda Urban Package which cost RM 2,300 around there. I install aftermarket ones cause is almost distinguishable between ori and OEM and it’s plug n play cause there is door light plug provided beside the fuse box. For tint you can get 3M Crystalline but around rm 3xxx is one of the best in the market or else opt for Honda Ecotint Black Pearl series around RM 1699 (I’m using it anyway as given free by my SA). I didn’t go with coating cause doesn’t serve much protection anyway so I went ahead with full PPF.

Only some overly professional installer hide the cable of the dashcam inside the Honda sensing camera module cover that going to cause an issue. I just leave the cable outside and away from Honda sensing cover. I’m using 70Mai A800S btw.

Blue circled is the door light power hence it also comes with dimmed night ambient light source for my foot light usage. Is beside OBD2 port on the left. This post has been edited by jimmylim85: Aug 19 2023, 09:39 AM

I’ve chat with my agent, his accessories offer is much cheaper than official honda quotes, modulo package at 2k, vkool tint + body and glass coating 3k, urban package accessories but cheaper then honda 2.3k….. but his discount to me is only 8k+ 1k… Probably he bring the car to install those accessories at those aftermarket….but overall still ok since it’s cheaper than honda and maybe expensive abit then aftermarket abit. Now for me is the honda dvr vs 70mai… since u mentioned that it might affect the honda sensing, so most probably install honda dvr better to avoid any hassle….

If your SA sends the car outside to install those accessories then is not original from Honda Access. Cause if SA purchase from Honda (perhaps some discount or deduct it’s commission). Because Honda access accessories comes with installation directly from Honda dealer once your CRV arrive for delivery to customer. Actually the dashcam doesn’t affect the Honda sensing. I’ve install my dashcam below the Honda sensing cover to avoid any disturbance
