Actually just to ask what can we do as the buyer do if we do find that there are say wide body gaps. Scratches can be polished but body gaps is quite cast in stone

We’ll you can choose to accept or not to accept. Normally SA will ask you come back for service time and let their technician fix that issue.

I just collected my CRV, may I ask few questions from fellow owners
1 does the car have auto lock when the car move to say 20kmh? My other Honda car have this but for this CRV, don’t have and can’t find it in the system settings
2. Does your car have drawer light? The passenger side drawer, if at night got light or not?

You do know Honda Malaysia famous for cutting spec budget for us right

1. All CR-V since 2017 doesn't have auto lock function and its not even available in the infotainment setting

2. No drawer light but there is housing slot for it. I've googled up and found out the americans manage to source Honda Accord glovebox light module that fit this CR-V. Wiring required in which you will void the warranty. More to say even vanity mirror light module is excluded in Malaysia units.

first one even my stapler Accord also dont have but my mom new City has it, so you go figure....

Just had my vacation with the new CRV. Driving was smooth in the highway..still trying to learn the security features. But one of the features, Lane assist smthing...Will automatically steer ur steering back if u make a turn without putting signal. I mean. Most of the times n ideally we need to put signal when gng left or right. But sometimes when changing lane..we don really put the signal. And when we do this..the steering like pulling u bck. Afraid might lead to accident. Another cons of this CRV is, there is no blind spot on driver side..almost bang into a car when taking right lane...

Other than tht, the driving was class..my wife packed almost everything at hm n we went with 3 big luggage n some other small bags..but still din feel the weight when gng up ipoh hill although I feel my 4wd crv oil consumption is higher than my previous 2.0 civic

I knw someone will say this..ha ha..but practically almost impossible to follow the rules 100% for me...so decided to used it when driving in highway. One more thing, does the turbo engine requires separate service at separate interval or smthing..

I tried not putting signal and I swerve to right lane. Steering vibrate and slows the car abruptly with a bit hard braking 😅.

Even relaxing drive, the steering warning will light up, causing me to wank a bit the steering to tell Honda I’m still driving and in control the steering. Boring… somehow Honda uses steering movement to sense we are still alert while Volvo uses pressure feel.

Yes, turbo have separate service. Service A and Service B. You’ll be heading to Honda service centre a bit frequent than non turbo. Probably your 6 months interval, in the middle of it you require to replace oil. Because Honda uses 0W-20 which is thin, require earlier oil change. Maybe Honda worries about infamous L15B7 “oil dilution” but normally happens in cold climate.

Then you can just off the lane assist. No more steering pull
Or you can set it as just giving warning in the setting, no steering action.

Anyone took up the windscreen, coating and tyre lock nuts package with Honda. All 3 comes to RM3k. Is it worth or much cheaper outside with same quality.

Any of these 3 packages is important??

Windscreen coating i DIY using IGL Glass coating but later I’ll do 9H full coating.

For Tyre wheel lock NUTS, I bought from Shopee as there is one Honda SA personal account selling it for RM 199 only. I bought from him and install it myself. Is Honda Access genuine product. And the same seller I bought two Honda umbrella 😅

No difference if you buy Honda lock nut or buy from outside, same too for umbrella.

Kinda pricey at RM 35 but at least someone took the effort 3D printed it and grab the umbrella on top instead hidden inside the trunk. What I did is apply super glue on to the flexible area of the 3D print structure to enhance rigidity.

Maybe ours is using full size tire and can’t be hidden. Haven’t try though.

If we have use space saver tire, our cargo space can get more.

Any recommendations of coating tht is durable and whts the average price. My frens all said coating can preserve car color and avoid scratches.
