Can I just ask typically for crv, how much dp you guys put in especially if you are not trading in your current car.

Will the interest rate go up if you are putting down say 40% downpayment

Only thing is when receiving your CR-V do check the gaps on all doors and the trunk. Check on body panels make sure there is no defects and scratches.  Collect your car early as you have more time to QC and SA explanation on how to use.
*
Actually just to ask what can we do as the buyer do if we do find that there are say wide body gaps. Scratches can be polished but body gaps is quite cast in stone

https://www.carlist.my/new-cars-for-sale/ho...laysia_selangor

https://www.carlist.my/new-cars-for-sale/ho...ia_kuala-lumpur

The promotion is available through malaysia i think

just need to go to carlist.my and search for new crv at the respective states

hi guys, uncle here want to confirm something

i know that crv has this service A and Service B but my SA telling me that both the above service, no need to refer to manually on 5k or 3m

service A is for engine oil and Service B is for engine oil with air filter

just refer to the service monitor on the dashboard

is this correct

How many Boss here is awaiting New CRV for a comparison with Tiggo Pro 8?

New CRV easily starting from 180K onward ????

I found Tiggo Pro 8 is too tempting with almost everything ........
*
the problem is that car's are too expensive and not many people willing to take the risk of going with unproven brand

it's not like HP, if you don't like can just throw away

that's me at least although I admit that the tiggo 8 pro does look good

can I ask why is the mileage interval of your Service A and Service B so far?

was it very different from the usual 5k / 3m ot 10k, /6m interval

does the SA try to get customer to add on additional things?

QUOTE(Jingle91 @ Sep 5 2023, 10:36 AM)
Already drive for a mth, so far never use the walk away lock feature. Always lock the car manually and ensure mirrors are fold off before I leave.
*
this was the first features that i turned off. a bit annoying when i forgot something after getting into the house and the car auto locks and have to unlock again

For Honda turbo, the service interval is always less than 10k, it very depend on how you drive, the more you let your car stay idle with engine keep running, or when you always drive with high rpm, then the service interval will be shorter.

Let say when you drive only 6k km and the indicator pop up on screen ask you to service, that will be the service interval you have to follow. Because your engine detected the oil condition is due to change in order to protect the turbo. So you can choose either to change engine oil only and then come back again at 10k to change other minor items or do it one short. I usually change all together, so in a way, you will spend more time and money on service compare to non turbo engine.

Now I have been driving my new crv for abt 3.5k km after one mth, think have to go for service when it hit 7k km.
*
now i get better picture

if we don't want to change the things during the engine oil change, then we still have to stick to the xk/ym for things like brake pads etc

is the interval bases on 5k/3m or 10k/6m

oh so not only we had to follow the 10k interval service schedule, but if the indicator pop out, we had to go service too? then will kena extra labour fees and hassle for extra time for service lo.. adui....
*
hopefully say if you need to do the oil change at say 8k, ask the SC to chop as 10k service interval

but if need to change oil at 5k, maybe SC won't agree

Need more existing owner to share their experience

This tread more uncle so feedbacks is slower compared to Civic or HRV tread

the led indicator goes beyond the full marker?

as per my picture, it doesn't and there is always space left but my colleague and the other former above, there is no space.

hi all, i got an offer from a relative, around 90k+ to get a 2017 crv 1.5 tc-p, condition consider good for a 6 year old.

Worth to grab it?
*
when buying car from family members still best to get your mechanics to check it out and also see the full service history

no issue with the steering rack or button for the gear?

have you test drive the car, based on my new limited ownerships, crv is good if you drive smoothly

not quick acceleration like the myvi or vios that you are used to

have you compared price to carsome, my tukar etc

some honda dealers are still giving rebate of 14k to clear off existing stock before the new launch

I reckon the base 1.5T at 160++ is OK.
*
should be closer to 175k i reckon

currently 1.5TC also 165k before discount

should be at least 10k to 15k more expensive

Any promo for the current CR-V? Still got stock? Any thoughts go for better deal for current model or new one?
*
the real advantage of the new CRV over the colder unit is

360 reverse camera
bigger boot

for the price difference before any rebate for the older unit, I will say that the new unit is worth the price increase of about 5k right

so depends on the what rebate still available for the older units

The 360 camera needs to top up 17K over the old 1.5T FWD price. Old one cannot get anymore. The E spec has everything the old one had with an increase of 5k only. It IS a bigger SUV, with the latest update, so that 5K increase already worth it.
*
the 360 camera only in the AWD abd and RS

Too bad for the 2WD folks

not worth paying so much if you really just want the 360 without the AWD that no everyone needs

honda should have provided the 360 for the E and above

not everyone wants AWD as maintenance is higher

I am a current owner of a CX5 but the space is just too small for me, hence the shift to CRV but pretty frustrating of not getting the car yet.

Where's your branch..? Might want to give a visit if they've got a ready units.
*
hope you get your unit soon and please do share your review of the CTV such as build quality, driving dynamics and fuel consumption vs your CX5. Which units of CX5 are you driving.

are you still keeping your CX5. I was also torn between the CX5 and CRV but opted for the CRV due to the space difference

hi guys, just wanted to ask a question in advance as it has been years since I bought a new car with warranty.

tyres are not part of the 5 year warranty so this means that we are free to change the tyre that came with the car right?

there is no procedure or stuff to do right and most tyre shop can change the tyre without any issues right. any advantage of changing from SA

same goes with the car battery right. apologies for newbie question
