Just got my car and I am surprise that the third time when I drove the car, there was loud rattling noise coming from the passenger side whenever driving on the slightly uneven road, further more the armrest got squeezing noise when the passenger resting his arm on it... What is happening?

I’m assuming that the noises didn’t happen when you first took delivery, else you’d have refused that particular vehicle. Alas, once signed. signed. That’s Honda Malaysia’s latest sales model in action.. Build and sell first, deal with issues later. Hopefully they can rectify it easily without breaking something else. console.gif

Hello again guys.

After months of deliberation, looks like I'll be going for a CR-V as my next vehicle (TC-P model).

Appreciate if you guys have any good leads on Honda centres that offer good discounts/packages. So far, the only one I've been to (Tenaga Setia at PJ) is offering a RM6k to RM7k discount.

Any other centres can offer better deals? Thanks and appreciate it.

Hi Guys,

Anyone done with first 10K service?
Looking for 1.5 TC... what was the cost like...
Did you get the warning earlier or was it exactly at 10k.?
How is the FC so far?

Waiting for my CRV 1.5TC...

Many of the members in our CRV G5 WhatsApp group had the same problem too. Some choose to live with it, few actually sent back their cars to Honda and got it fixed. U might want to do the same if you can afford to leave the car there overnight

Quite a number of us booked ours with Honda Semenyih (SAG Ultimate). For year end promo, I think they can offer up to 7k or 7.5k. Pm me if you need the contacts

I got 7.5k discount last month. I told the SA I don't need any free gift and voucher, just net cash discount. Place booking, mysikap receipt and other doc on 8oct, provide NCD withdrawal letter and sign loan on 12oct, pay D/P on 16oct, 19oct collect car. Overall satisfied with speedy car delivery (Basically less than 10 days after booking, can get on 16oct if i have time to pay the D/P earlier). But, damn, he didn't even fill petrol for me cry.gif, not to mention smart tag etc. He giv me a KAH motor service discount card (is actually and tough&go card) and a honda travel bag.

Anyway still happy with the SA as he able to deliver his promise. I had a terrible experience previosly when booking my accord at Setapak Sri Utxmx

Currently happy with the car, just done 1000km service, everything seems ok, pray hard dont get a 'lemon unit' notworthy.gif

Wow, this is actually very concerning. Luckily it happened at low speed. The way Honda Malaysia is handling the issue is very disappointing.

I'm posting my insight from civic here in-case you guys find it useful:

Sharing tricks for by pass HU, hope i'm not too late, this trick was already on civicx forum since June. No Y-cable installation required. No rooting android required. Reversible. (Note i have not test all the function yet but it looks promising, as always do it at your own risk)
No pic for guidance try to use your imagination  biggrin.gif  I won't be explaining every detail but here it goes:
Step 1: Go to HU android browser

Step 2: Clear the browser address and enter exact following input without the quotes "about:debug" then press go (nothing will happen first, it's intended)

Step 3: Clear the browser address again and this time enter exact exact following input without the quote "file///" then press go
(by now you should see file menus)

Step 4: In the file menu navigate to vendor>app> then search for something like 'whiteListService.apk' and tap it. (Warning: do no tap on any other files or apk, i do not know what will happen but be warn)
It will ask for installation, allow it and tap the install button, then it will prompt installation failed, nevermind that is also intended.

Last Step: Hold power button and restart the HU. Now try and see by pass is working or not, play movie, browse picture..etc

Well, as for more tech savvy guys, u should have guessed by the name whiteListServiceApk, this is how honda does restriction for our HU. It is better than rooting, just alter the whitelist.xml will work as intended. Personally i have not tested it yet but people in civicx sort of confirm this approach worked for installing external apk.

I've tested on CR-V the "by pass". It works for HU default browser and calculator and setting is enable even when vehicle is moving but i haven't got the chance to test the hdmi mirror link yet.

Then possible to do mirroring from phone, either android or iphone?

How it drives? Don't know yet.

At casual inspection, a well put together car. Paintwork and cabin have a premium feel. The Android Auto is pretty cool.

As for the design, especially the rear, I think I'll learn to like it. smile.gif

Btw, Pearl White paint is an additional RM 400.

Good that the car is well built. Agree on the rear design but I can accept it. smile.gif

Yes, I’d like to know how it drives too. I read that ppl say it’s a bit underpowered but I think I can live with that. I’m not the speed kind of driver.

One thing is the road tax more pricey. I’m not sure about the maintenance cost compared to the 1.5 (Honda website said engine oil depends on indicator).

Got my 2.0 Dark Olive last 2 weeks and last weekend I got the chance to drive in highway. Personally I don't feel any under-powered on this car. Steady driving at 140-150km/h. Perhaps the pickup might not be "that" good but overall a nice car to me.
